The situation. Ease of booking. Good breakfast. Everything we needed in room. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Dinner order was messed up and service was slow, although we realise they were very busy. Noisy fan sound from kitchen very audible in room which we had to request to be switched off. Bed sheets looked rather grey and dingy.

Excellent breakfast Charging extra for my grandson who stayed 2 nights, I had assumed the £135 (for 3 nights) was for the room, regardless of how many guests.

Large car park; Welcome by Proprietor-Michael; Interior was warm (snow outside) and was full of character; Bar was patronised by local, friendly, Welsh-speakers; Room (No. 7) was large - with a four-poster - and a large, clean ensuite bathroom. Catering was very good. Nil!

Relaxed friendly atmosphere and no undue regulations. Decent beer and food at reasonable prices. Location was slightly further than we would like from the friends we were visiting in Llandeilo.

Very nice staff. Efficient. Mattress a little uncomfortable. As 2 larger people the quilt whilst warm would have been better if bigger.

The staff were welcoming friendly and helpful. The rooms spacious and comfortable. The quality of the food was a let down. We had a light lunch - the pie was the last of the batch and had obviously been reheated a couple of times; and as a hot meal it should have come out on a warm plate. Chips are cheap - so why buy in the cheapest? Same with the breakfast = plenty of choice, and Earl Grey tea, but again - why use 'cheap' sausages. Little things make a big difference. Sadly the hotel does not advertise the fact that the rooms are above the noisy function room and that the walls are paper thin, on our first night we were above a party, and then from midnight we listened to the conversation of the people next door. Shame. We were moved to another room for our second night which was helpful as we then only had the bar noise to listen to.

Everything; Rooms excellant, food excellent, beer excellent, people excellent. What more do you want!! This is probably one the best small hotels I've stayed in, forget your Holiday Inns & Travelodge, when you are on a business trip this is what you need to relax. If it was worth worrying about I would have spoken to Michael or Therese

The room was spacious as was the bathroom. Well decorated and maintained. The food served in the restaurant/bar was delicious and the menu had a wide choice. Although the Inn was situated on a fairly busy road, our room overlooking the car park proved to be nice and quiet and had a view of the mountains/hills in the distance which was appreciated. Our bedroom door squeaked and seemed a tight fit. Other doors along the corridor sounded as though they were also a tight fit. Perhaps a little wd40 plus a shaving off the door may eliminate the noise of opening/closing, especially during the night! Otherwise, the fitting of door springs would lessen the 'banging'.
