Best breakfast ever. Good bar menu. Somerton very attractive historic town.
service room comfort and facilities food location
Beautiful characterful room. Lovely food in friendly pub. Nice pub garden with beautiful view. Extremely clean rooms. Wonderful base for exploring the area.
Not quite sure who we had to talk to with any issues. Staff all very friendly though and helpful when asked. Town is very very quiet, almost eerily so. Very pretty though. It says there is parking but there are only a couple of spaces in front of the pub on a narrow road. Otherwise there are restrictions. This should be made clear to visitors before they arrive.
Central position and the friendly staff who were extremely helpful in every way
Very friendly staff, excellent room and beautiful restaurant!
The overall finish of the accommodation is excellent, staff were friendly and helpful.
accommodation welcome food wi-fi works décor and styling it's a fun place
Excellent standard of room, size and bathroom to a very high standard. Garden and patio are delightful.
Not much flexibility of breakfast time, we were heading out early for the Air Day at Yeovilton (6 miles away), staff didn't realise it was taking place.
The rooms were lovely and a super bathroom. Good creams and lotions. Great to have a cafetiere with coffee in the room. Friendly staff
Fabulous bedroom! Bath tub at the end of the bed! Food was outstanding! Jenna was superb - went to the corner shop to get cucumber for our Hendricks gin & tonics! Icing on the cake! Would most definitely stay again! Will definitely recommend to family & friends.
(minor point only! room quite warm during the summer(!) months - had to have window open & this meant it was very noisy with early morning deliveries, school run, people heading off to work etc - maybe a fan for the room so that the windows could be closed?) very, very minor point tho & definitely hasn't stopped us wanting to return!
very comfortable bed. evening meal average.
drinks expensive. breakfast not what you expect for full English. We were first in the dining room, we asked for fried eggs and got scrambled, fried eggs did arrive later but were hard! Would hate to be there when busy.
Bed was excellent. Breakfast was personally prepared for you and was great. Great coffee Excellent choice and quality of meals Room decore/size was very good
Lugging bags upstairs
Food very good
Room too hot could not turn heated towel rail off
the food, the garden and the area
Loved the location, the room, the service and the decor. Also loved the large garden, our little one loved running around in it while we had our dinner outdoors in the lovely weather.
Would have been nice to have had a bath tub as well as shower in our bathroom for our little one.
Excellent little hotel with an amazing garden perfect for enjoying a meal and a few drinks outside in the sunshine. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Staff at the hotel were more than friendly and more than happy to help at all times.
Nothing at all to not like.
Lovely comfortable room with modern bathroom. Excellent restaurant and nice garden. Lovely local toiletries.
The church bells strike EVERY 15 MINUTES ALL NIGHT!!! And then, at 5.59am the rubbish/recycling collectors make a huge noise right outside the hotel. I have rarely had such a bad night's sleep.
d inner breakfast service!
The super king size bed made up for the view of the roof and the noise from the generators from the kitchen down below. Room 8 The wet room was fantastic , I would Definately stay here again. The staff were a credit to the place . Well done to you all !!
Decor in keeping with beautiful old building. Loved having real coffee in my room and a decent sized claw foot bath. Lovely big bed and luxury sheets and pillows. A good nights sleep! Helpful and charming staff. Delicious breakfast. Will be back!
The only thing I didn't like is noise outside on the street. I was in room 2. A lot of noise at closing time, need double glazing but appreciate this maybe impossible in such a beautiful old building. Will request a room at the back next time!
This place is incredible all round. We were lucky enough to get the largest room, with massive four poster, bath and quirky fixtures. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Other rooms are smaller, but still very stylish. The bar and restaurant have a lovely informal vibe, attracting locals in all day for snack and coffee. The food was wonderful too - we had a succulent steak and burger for dinner, and our breakfast bacon was delicious - tasty, sweet and not at all salty, the eggs were rich, golden and full it flavour. Once you settle in to the White Hart, you'll never want to leave.
Somerton is beautiful and the White Hart is right in the centre, there is parking opposite. The room was stylish and comfortable with excellent quality quirky furnishings. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, the granola/yoghurt and strawberries were amazing. Really a cut above.
The weather was very warm and a fan in the room and a thinner duvet would have made it perfect.
This was a wonderful English pub with beautifully updates rooms . The food, drink and the staff were magnificent . This is truly English luxury in a country setting .
The white heart has no Negatives . All facilities were of a high standard
Very friendly and accommodating. Needed to get up early and they made breakfast an hour before it normally starts.
It is basically above a pub so when there is a dj or music it is just being in a room above a pub so you don't sleep until they close and clean up for the night. However, they did email in advance to warn there was an event.
