Staff very polite and helpful. Romsey is a very pretty town and hotel is in the middle. Room was very clean. |

Nice and clean - an old building lots of history. comfortable bed - breakfast good - my room was a bit poky and small (although nice bathroom) - I had a good discount rate which I was happy with but would have felt a bit cheated if I'd paid full normal price. No Iron / Ironing board in room - had to ask for it - and no tea /coffee making facilities in room |

Staff very helpful. Hotel clean and spacious. Blend of old and new carefully done. Only having a shower! As we've no bath at home (shower!!), I do like a bath in hotels. |

Room was fabulous, food very tasty at we ate at 10.30pm. The staff very accommodating - looking forward to next visit. Walls were a bit thin and we could hear next door snoring but we splept well anyway. |

It was a pleasant Hotel to stay in. Good location and good food. Staff were frindly. Didn't have a lift and we stayed on the 2nd floor with a 3 months baby. |

The restaurant and the staff were outstanding! The restaurant is worth a detour to Romsey, even if you're not staying at the hotel. In London, the meals would have been twice the price - and still would have been worth price charged. The staff was so helpful & pleasant - every single person we encountered clearly wanted to be doing a good job - and succeeded. Only that we couldn't stay longer! |

Picked up a much-reduced late Internet booking so won't comment on the VFM. An excellent Hotel. Beautifully appointed. Visible kitchen, which is a rarity. I would like to stay again. |
