Bed was comfy
No parking which wasn't clearly stated bad service room was very small and really unclean bathroom was disgusting very thin walls not a good nights sleep it ruined our stay
Location is good and the value for money improved when we negotiated a reduction from £80 to £65 when we saw the accommodation.
We were put in the annexe which was just like student accommodation with holes in the walls and light fittings broken. There was no manager available all weekend - just some staff trying their best to sort out the customers' complaints.
Fantastic location Friendly staff Generously sized rooms Good breakfasts
No parking facility Breakfast was only served 9-10, too late for those wishing to spend a full day out on the hills.
The location was great and in a quiet area.
The language barrier was a problem when the manager was not there to supervise her staff, especially the breakfast shift. Also the bed was extremely uncomfortable and clearly a good number of years old. these things turn a nicely located place into something very poor.
The location was excellent, ideal for the lake ,buses, shops ,restaurants, what more could you need. Ps pubs also.
Could do with it's own car park
Packing our bags after 1st night
Scruffy accomodation, unhelpful staff, breakast late, no remote tv control won't be back
Location was good.
Staff friendly Location good
Raw sausages Superior room???? Not!!! Dirty carpets mouldy shower Door banging all day and night would not close properly 3 out 10 won't be staying again.
Location, breakfast was lovely
The location is ideal. Breakfast was excellent.
No parking facilities,The double bedroom we where given hard dirty carpets, and mould in the bathroom shower wall and ceiling. I was disappointed with the condition of the bed, was not a proper double bed, rather than two single bed pushed together. Demanded for a change in bedroom, and had to pay extra for family room.
Grouting in the shower was filthy. Could hear every word of the mobile phone conversation of the man in next room well into the early hours. Bed was small and lumpy
The location is good
TV didn't work so we asked to see if they could sort and we got no reply or excuse until we had to pay for the bill.. We asked for a slight reduction in price but she wouldn't budge, breakfast was good Saturday but Sunday we had to wait a long time plus we both felt the sausages were under cooked...didn't change the towels ....we've stopped here before and we think it's under new management and all they're interested in is the money nothing more !!
as a b&b good.nic and quite.good location.
no parking.needs a bit of tlc.
The quietness and the distance to the lake and the local bars people extremely polite and the local shops were very interesting .
The hotel food was not very good at all .we had a full English breakfast. But everything on the plate was cold apart from the egg the sausage looked as though it had been warmed in the microwave .not impressed at all
Location was good very central
the property would be ideal if ti was just updated and cleaner. The room felt tired, the carpet was grubby as was the general décor and paintwork in the lobby and the stairs and the room (we stayed in the annexe to the side of churchills). It's just a shame really as the resort is beautiful and the location of this hotel is great but it was let down and also the TV reception was abominal
Mouldy bathroom a layer of hair on the carpet
The staff & food were lovely
The room was small & so was the bathroom and definitely needs updating & decorating
staff good ,price good, very nice breakfast
walls thin so heard snoring couple, pack earplugs next time.car park bit of a hike
The breakfast is very good with a good choice. The location was excellent, plenty of bars and restaurants near the lake .
The room was a small double should be very small double. The bed was very comfortable, the shower how ever needed to be clean to a higher standard and regrouted as there was mould round the base . Room 7
location perfect, rooms old fashioned but clean. good breakfast and food overall is OK. Staff are really nice.
no parking at all. Its a busy town and we where lucky to park on a nearby car park. Parking is expensive and doess add to the overall bill.
I came here with my mother and although they don't accept late check ins. They made an exception for us. It was a nice stay and friendly people. Best, Eva Patricia
Having to wait till 915 for breakfast
Location; Breakfast; And John is a very nice guy~
Location was great and staff friendly however room was a big disappointment and so was the food. Food was convenience food heated in microwave or else very greasy
In room toilet seat was broken. Shower only had water temp of near boiling so kids couldn't use. Desperate need of paint job and little holes in walls!
location, quiet in the nighttime, helpful staff, good food, value for money
need more lighting for coming in late at night, we had enough space but we were in a family room and we didnt have any kids with us. would have been a squeeze with kids.
