Nothing but remember this a pub not a 5* hotel from a chain.
Lovely pub, very welcoming and friendly staff. Catering, including breakfast was excellent and rooms very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend
Room was warm and comfortable. I had to leave early and they prepared breakfast for me and it was very nice.
Comfy bed, clean sheets, big room, lovely owners. A very friendly b&b. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend.
Homely, friendly, ideal location for us when visiting the area
Our bedroom could have done with a good clean, Carpet and window frame in particular
Very friendly staff, Suzie and Dave, and the young man who served our food. Delicious evening meal (I had the steak and Ale Pie), Superb value for money. Good beer!! The White Lion is full of character, with comfort. We enjoyed the walks around the immediate area, especially along the canal and around the church. I have no hestitation in recommending this hotel, and if travelling this way again, we will certainly try to make another booking.
Vey good reception and evening service from the managers themselves. Good value for money. Not 4 star but you get what it says on the tin
Why lay 2 breakfast taboes right on top of each other when only 2 ar being used and there only plenty of other tables spaced pout more comfortably around the room.
The landlady was very nice and made you welcome.
No-one up to serve breakfast on first morning. Grumblings among regulars over staff. Food just acceptable.
the white horse was to remote all the locals brought there dogs into the pub

Bed was far too comfy, slept in and missed breakfast!!
Friendly staff, made everything easy. Check in was quick, even though we arrived very late (around 11pm). Check out was quick and painless. Location is beautiful, views are stunning. Visited the bar around Saturday lunchtime - friendly staff, tasty real ale.
Don't have any complaints whatsoever.
The room was good, the meals were good and the staff helpful and friendly.
Heating was not working and we were not informed of this on arrival and paying. Evening meal not the best cooked and served on cold plates. Noise from fan in kitchens heard in bedroom.
Lovely, big, clean room. Great shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great location for us and excellent value for money.
Just the very loud noise the plumbing made.
