Turned up early but staff couldn't be more helpful and let me into my room there and then. Clean and tidy room, which overlooked the village church. Only stayed for the night but would suit a longer break too.
Helpful staff, light comfortable room, excellent breakfast
Squeaky sign outside window and Cloud WiFi(only free if you sell your soul)
Friendliness of staff
Lovely room, well decorating and very inviting. Very friendly owners.
How very helpful staff were. Have a wheat problem notified them all geared up for me. Even crossed checked if they were in doubt. Food was very very good. No complaints at all. Very good portions. Will stay again here.
There was no heating on so the room was very cold when we arrived. The shower and surrounds were dirty and there was black mould.
Breakfast, although it soon went cold.
the noise of the coolers or whatever motor it is that sounds like a vacumn cleaner running all night. the draughty windows although we were warned about the windows when shown to the room
large room, good shower and comfy bed
The only downside was the lighting in the room was a little dim and I took the lampshade from the lamp, so my wife could do her make up in a better light but I can't comment on this for the other rooms
I've visited this place a few times as I have friends in the area but decided to book a room this time and it didn't disappoint. We booked a double room but I am guessing we were the only guests that night as we were given the family (triple) room which was nice and spacious.
I would have like a bed sidelight to save getting out of bed when I finished reading.
I normally suffer from getting comfortable in bed but it was lovely to get into a bed with crisp linen and enjoy a good nights sleep.
Windows surrounds in bedroom could be cleaned
Locals very friendly and made me feel welcome
All of the above
Very friendly place with clean and comfortable rooms and tasty breakfasts. The pub organised a reception for a christening which we attended. Such good value and great food
Nothing but remember this a pub not a 5* hotel from a chain.

Lovely pub, very welcoming and friendly staff. Catering, including breakfast was excellent and rooms very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend
Room was warm and comfortable. I had to leave early and they prepared breakfast for me and it was very nice.
Comfy bed, clean sheets, big room, lovely owners. A very friendly b&b. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend.
Our bedroom could have done with a good clean, Carpet and window frame in particular
Homely, friendly, ideal location for us when visiting the area
Very friendly staff, Suzie and Dave, and the young man who served our food. Delicious evening meal (I had the steak and Ale Pie), Superb value for money. Good beer!! The White Lion is full of character, with comfort. We enjoyed the walks around the immediate area, especially along the canal and around the church. I have no hestitation in recommending this hotel, and if travelling this way again, we will certainly try to make another booking.
Why lay 2 breakfast taboes right on top of each other when only 2 ar being used and there only plenty of other tables spaced pout more comfortably around the room.
Vey good reception and evening service from the managers themselves. Good value for money. Not 4 star but you get what it says on the tin
No-one up to serve breakfast on first morning. Grumblings among regulars over staff. Food just acceptable.
The landlady was very nice and made you welcome.
the white horse was to remote all the locals brought there dogs into the pub
Friendly staff Value For Money Too tired on arrival to try any food. Just slept
Bed was far too comfy, slept in and missed breakfast!!
Very comfortable, nice large, spacious room and very clean. Ample parking and very close to Skipton.
Don't have any complaints whatsoever.
Friendly staff, made everything easy. Check in was quick, even though we arrived very late (around 11pm). Check out was quick and painless. Location is beautiful, views are stunning. Visited the bar around Saturday lunchtime - friendly staff, tasty real ale.
