All of it ! Location was good, room was lovely and clean and all the staff were very very professional
There was nothing that we disliked
Pleasant and helpful staff, excellent food, comfortable room.
Noise from adjoining rooms above, mainly footsteps most of the night, interupting our sleep.
Nice quiet, clean & comfortable room. Breakfast was ok. Staff very pleasant.
Food served from evening dinner menu was very pricey and not always good.
Breakfast was good.
Noise from all doors to and from bedrooms. They bang loudly when closing shut.
Rooms were basic but comfortable, and food was excellent. The full English breakfast was great value for money
Room was dark even with lights on, and ours was near the bottle bank, and noisy when emptying was going on.
Food was excellent ,chicken and ham pie especially and breakfast was fresh ,hot and good quality .
Our bathroom needed a good clean mould on ceiling over bath ,staining on walls obviously a damp problem .musty smell think all caused by poor extraction ?...
Very comfortable rooms. Nice place to have dinner & lovely breakfast.
Location, Arundel is nearby and lovely village with restaurants and castle
Pub a bit dirty and noisy, rooms basic, noise early in morning (cutting grass at 8am)
We both enjoyed our evening away the food was lovely and the room was clean and comfy, we would definately return.
Having the option of bar/evening meal on return from days out. Breakfast choices were very good. We did appreciate to be in room round the back of hotel as it was situated directly on main road. Something we would consider in the future when booking accommodation.
I loved the style of the place and the decor, old worldey and cosy. The bedrooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. The White Swan is in easy reach or Arundel and also to the south coast the staff were young and friendly.
I really liked it there, the only draw back is on a Saturday nights they usually have weddings on, and it can be nosy for sleeping but to be fair the staff did warn us of this and the music was turned off at midnight like they said. The maids replenished our tea and coffee for the second night but not our bisquits but they made a lovely job of cleaning the room.
Spacious room.nice pub.
Scratches on door to room-doesnt give a good impression.shower attachment broken so had to hold shower-a bit annoying.doors constantly banging in the morning from other residents.a few minor points which lets it down.
The comfort of the hotel was just brilliant, perfect in fact. Attention to detail was spot on. The location is so convenient for so many different places to visit. I would highly recommend to all. A wonderful stay. Thank you.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike....it was all lovely.
Peaceful location, in spite of being on the A@7
Menu was a little limited and uninspiring
Liked the large bed in room 9
tv was a little small
Bed very comfortable. Food was excellent. Bed linen very clean and towels white and fluffy.
Location was ideal. Nice bar lounge area.
Staff were less than friendly and morale seemed low.
generally staff, rooms and service overall are fine
However wifi is pretty poor - no excuse these days for that.... and over 3 years of visiting, a once really nice menu has become much less interesting and somewhat less in quality too. A real shame as I like the White Swan very much otherwise.
Very weak shower
friendly staff good twinrooms good realale and food
The service in the restaurant was fair but the chef was poor. My husband and I ordered steak, well done but mine came rare, when I sent it back they microwaved it and sent back to me. Told me if I wanted a fresh one I would have to wait 25 mins. Which was a joke as I had already waited an hour for the first one. The manager came over to apologies and offered us some complementary desserts. Which you would think that they would get them right after the mess with the main course, but no they got mine wrong again. After the bad night in the restaurant we went to bed for a good nights sleep but this was not to be. No air con and the only window we could open was next to the extractor fan for the kitchen. Which went on every hour and lasted 20mins at a time, each time we just about got to sleep the fan would go off. If that wasn't bad enough the mattress was hard as rocks. I would definitely give this one a miss,I will not be staying there again
All round good stay with helpful staff, good food and a relaxed attmosphere.
1) Please remind guests when they are leaving to hand in the room key. Being old and forgetful I went off with the key and had to come back with it - getting a double dose of the awful A27 traffic. 2) better wi-Fi round the building would be good. 3) The bill at the end is confusing. Your accounting system adds and subtracts things at random.
