Excellent welcoming staff, very spacious living area, free close parking and all for a fantastic price
Not much but bathroom could be modernised
Customer service was very friendly
Need to upgrade shower
Very grand building and spacious room
Spacious and very comfortable lounge and bedrooms. Plenty of room for 5 people to have their own space. I would return if I could reserve an app on ground or 1st floor. Staff were excellent. Most helpful, courteous and pleasant.
The stairs. In attic appartment with no lift. BUT must admit that was my fault not enquiring . Also my fault in not enquiring about a walk in shower.
very large bedroom/lounge room with good kitchen. very classy area to stay at.
internet hard to get on to.
Near the hop on-hop off bus and plenty of bus stops near into the city and attractions. Kelvingrove attractions nearby. clean and easy to access - no noise from other apartments in the block - quiet residential area
No local pubs and restaurants - but the Byers rd area has plenty of everything and is only a 10-15 minute walk away - or a few mins in a taxi
The room was very spacious and the studio and everything we needed. It was relaxing to self cater and very quiet.
The bed could have been bigger and more comfortable. The decor is traditional. .think grandma chic...but we liked the character of the room and the architecture of the building.
Location, property is lovely if basic
£200 for two nights is bit much for what you get
The flat had quite a bit of space and was very comfortable, allowing us to relax. We could have easily prepared meals for ourselves, but didn't have the need. The conversion of the older buildings gave an interesting setting. Parking was easy.
Tastefully, yet comfortably and practically presented period apartment. Very quiet location in the elegant west end of Glasgow. Easy access to the Great Western Avenue with its facilities and straightforward route into city. Airy and spacious with views over gardens. Helpful staff.
Just a little short on crockery if you wish to entertain guests.
staff were extremely helpful. It was located reasonably close to the venue of the event we had traveled to attend,
Warm apartment on a cold day. Staff very helpful.
Apartment was dated and tired, not overly clean.
Convenient location for what we wanted. A fantastic room with 20ft high ceiling! Staff were lovely. Kitchen area was small but perfectly adequate for our short stay.
Could benefit from some modernisation such as a larger TV with sky. Apart from that it was great!
The apartments are very close to the Botanic Gardens and all the superb restaurants on Byers Road.
The decor was becoming a bit tired in the apartment.
Location and comfort
Location in quiet residential area within walking distance of West Glasgow attractions& places of interest / restaurants & bars Apartment building attractive stone terrace property Large living/ bedroom with comfortable / quality furnishings Staff helpful & friendly
Kitchen area v.small Bathroom needs updating
The apartments were a lovely size and had everything we needed. Only stayed one night but were very comfortable. We arrived early but our apartments were ready and the staff were happy to let us check in and could not have been more helpful. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again,.
There was nothing that we didn't like.
upgraded to much bigger apartment, lovely leafy, residential area, close to botanical gardens, Byres Road, and university. Easy parking.
Size of room Big windows, spacious Nice setting, peaceful
Awkward kitchen sink access
Every aspect of the apartment made our visit to Glasgow and the Games brilliant.
Not much. The weather was mixed and spoilt some days. But not as bad as it could have been.
Grand surroundings in a 19th Century sense with high ceilings, paneling, monumental fireplace and furnishings to match. Kitchen equipped well enough for basic needs. Comfortable beds. Constant hot water.
Shower in bath with no screen or curtain so hard to prevent wet floor! Not all reception staff well informed about the locality but those who were gave brilliant advice and help.
We stayed here during the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games and so for that, the apartments were excellent value for money. They're located on a nice street within a nice looking building and there was free parking available.
Once we entered the apartment it felt like something from the 80s / 90s - the apartment needs a complete modernisation, the ironing board cover needs replacing (burn marks all over it) some of the furniture was tatty and old and the apartment had a musty smell.
Building, helpful staff, decor
Stairs, sign of water damage, poor standard of window curtains, did not fit loft window - no blockage of light
Location. Bathroom very nice. Free wifi.
Only one window opened which wasn't good in hot weather. All windows need some attention.
Everything! Should have stayed longer!
