Friendly welcome, Clean Rooms beds made and towels changed every day. Great location for exploring the Island. Play area for the Children. Good food, plenty of choice for breakfast. with food served all day.
Wouldn't say room was really suitable for family of 4 bit of a squeeze. Our room had a single sofa bed and a camp bed (at the foot of the double bed) for the children not what i would class as a 'family room'. Couldn't connect to the temperamental Wi-fi
The food was excellent, aside from an apparent inability to cook a poached egg with a soft yolk.
The rooms were shabby and in dire need of some TLC. The bed was very uncomfortable with a massive dip in the middle
Staff and new owners are lovely, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing
Bed a little uncomfortable, creaked each time we moved! Buses to chale village stopped at 6pm which was inconvenient
Room cleanliness, blocked shower.
Very polite staff, food was good. Room was comfortable.
Bed was hard, shower was poor.
Hour wait for food Ditty bedrooms Moth eated carpets in hotel part No A/C
Facilities for children travelling with us( staying at a different venue) .Child and Adult friendly staff
The rooms and building are in need of an upgrade, they appear tired.
Plenty of car parking, attractive pub.
cobwebs all around window. Decoration very dated, threadbare carpets. Food unremarkable.
Great location, nice & caring staff..
I stayed at this hotel with my family including 2 daughters. All of us enjoyed staying with the hotel. The room was not so large or new, but it was very homely. Staffs were very kind and friendly. English Breakfast was so nice. Also, it was very reasonable price.
The breakfast was great
Shame the wifi password didn't work
Lovely location, great atmosphere and super pub/bed & breakfast.
Needs a little tlc but were told it was under new management and they were in process of updating decor.
Good service from staff. Tea facilities was good. Breakfast was good value.
Rooms dated.shower not clean.. Overall looked tatty
My daughter, granddaughter & I spent 9 days at the Wight Mouse Inn and were more than impressed with our stay. We were treated exceptionally well by the management and staff who were efficient, friendly & extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food & housekeeping was 'second to none' and the children's play area a real bonus for the children. We have no hesitation in returning to the Wight Mouse or recommending it to others.
There was nothing we didn't like and wl return there next year probably.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The view an kids playground an seating an at breakfast we spent most of time out so really only used it as place for breakfast an sleep
The cleaning was bit rubbish clearly they spent 10mins servicing our room then couldn't be bothered bathroom needed updating even just a lick of paint would do. They said they have WiFi they don't. Family room was small an a lot of stairs for our 2yr old. Breakfast was hit an miss 1 day tasted good next awful. Food for eve there is overpriced so only ate dinner there once. The info pack about the inn looked awful an told us nothing helpful an even said to phone reception but there was no phone in our room. The reception is closed off room an not welcoming at all. Rooms were painfully un soundproofed were heard everything from next door inc their showers an conversations.
Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms cleaned well, daily, with fresh white towels etc. Good size TV, choice of tea etc, electric fan. Comfortable bed. Good choice for breakfast.
Very slow food service. It would have been nice to have a larger lounge area with comfy chairs and sofas for guests as it caters for B&B guests.
The rooms were spacious The views Good base for travelling around the Island Not far from the Ferry Staff friendly and very helpful
Our one suite shower room was a little small compared to my mothers, lovely bathroom Stair carpets in need of replacement, didn't give a good impression when entering the hotel
Friendly staff, nice location and food.
Bathroom a bit grubby, think the cleaner missed it the day we arrived.
lovely looking pub, great if we were on our own, not so good for children maybe would get away with 1 night but not 3.
very tired looking, could not separate children in room, there were 5 of us all looking at each other, stairs dangerous for little ones because of worn carpet not suitable for 10mth, 3yrs and 6yr old
2nd time there.. Peaceful location
Needs some TLC inside
Staff, location, children space
Friendly staff Nice breakfast Did not try the main food but looked very good
Stair carpets a bit tatty and rooms a bit tatty But the new owners are starting an overhaul Of the areas Did see builders measuring for quotes
