A friendly homely hotel (it's a pub with accommodation), breakfast and evening meals were really good, good wireless connection, 15 min drive from Basingstoke, clean and comfortable room, competitive room rates. I will definitely be staying again.

Lovely, clean room. I arrived late and was very tired so was relieved to get into a comfy bed. Landlady was friendly and helpful. Walls in room were very thin and I could clearly hear man in room next door talking.

It was in a great location for what I needed and was very peaceful. My room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. It was very handy to be able to eat in the bar, not have to book and have good home-cooked food in a friendly atmosphere. I am already planning to stay there again.

The Landlord and his wife were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were great and no request was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed to make our stay a good one. They serve a fantastic cup of tea too!

I enjoyed a very friendly and helpful welcome, and my room was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent,as was the quaility of the real ale (Palmers) On a very hot night the room was very warm, however this cooled off after 11.pm, and I slept well.

It was clean, comfortable and friendly with good food. Also convenient for visiting local tourist spots by car and very handy for trips to London with the station within walking distance.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and comfortable. The mealsv were excellent. Good service with a smile and a chat. The location was so convenient, with the train station two minutes walk away. I caught the train into London, to Basingstoke, to Bath, to Salisbury and only had a two minute walk back to my room at the end of a long day. The country walks were so good as well. The walk into Hartley Wintney, Elvetham and Odiham. Excellent holiday.

Even though I only stayed for one night the staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for more. Food was good and the bedroom and bathroom very clean and cosy. Nothing. My only thought would be to book direct with the Winchfield Inn rather than a booking agency and save approximately £40.

The Wichfield Inn was very comfortable. The room was basic in decoration but very clean. The staff were very welcoming and the meal in the evening and breakfast was very good, prices good too.
