the price is getting too high. most of the car park spaces if used over night ,leave your car covered in bird droppings. (totally covered my bonnet and roof.

Excellent location for our visit. Comfortable rooms in every sense. Tried the restaurant in the hotel on our first evening and the food was very good. Breakfast each day was also very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The price is quite steep but the location of this hotel is very good. One of the other reasons for choosing The Windmill on the Common was the free, secure parking. We will definitley stay there again when we visit London.

I loved the breakfasts, thought the rooms were a great size and was impressed by the cleaning staff, reception staff and the brekky staff.

Polite and helpful staff, location with reference to my business meeting. Great decor and vibe. Food was average and serving staff very good. Overall a pleasant stay. JB.

My room was very comfortable with a superb bed. The view over the common was delightful day and night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room with en suite was clean, a good size and well decorated.The restaurant had a great atmosphere. As a alone traveller I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan to stay again.

A minor complaint, but it would have been nice to be able to have tea made in a teapot at breakfast.

A comfortable, modern hotel with good facilities and a helpful staff.

Easy to find and in an excellent location - tube about a 10 min walk. Situated within a pub, we did not expect the hotel to be as quiet as it was and we had an excellent night's sleep. The ground floor room (101) was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. We had a large modern ensuite with bath and shower and plenty of shampoo etc.. It was a bonus to be able to park the car securely, free (in London!!) and very close to the room. Breakfast was excellent, but a buffet service for the hot food would have worked better.

The breakfast was excellent, but it would have been better to have a self service buffet (as it is for the continental) than waiter service. Breakfast on Sunday closed at 10:00 and there were still people coming down at this time - it would have been better if it was extended by a further half-hour or so.

Very convenient for both Clapham and Clapham Junction/Northcote Road. Cooked breakfast was very good and bathroom and bedroom modern and to a high standard

Double bed was very small (a traditional double rather than any bigger) and when I asked for toast to go with my breakfast, the waitress simply pointed to the toaster, having not explained anything about helping yourself earlier. There were also no plates upon which you could put anything from the buffet table. It was very unclear whether you would be charged extra for the continental items which was a little confusing and the waitress did not offer to help but that is just me being fussy!

Ideal location and parking available. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were pleased with quality of food and service in the evening. Our room was quiet and of a comfortable size. We appreciated the free Wi-fi acces.

Mattress not very comfortable

Have stayed before over the last few years. Room 114 seemed a bit spartan but was clean and comfortable. .

Breakfast is not as good as it was in previous years. Basic selection.
