The facilities were of a high standard, food was excellent and the bar and dining area have a fine ambiance. Staff were friendly and attentive. Recommended with good transport links to central London.

A family wedding reception was held there - lovely venue, great location. The room we stayed in (207) was spacious, clean and beds very comfortable - our son even said the put-up bed felt like "heaven"! Staff were friendly and very polite. Lovely restaurant - food was great. A really lovely place I would definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel/pub/restaurant.

Nice location- away from the bustle of the roads. Excellent parking facilities which is rare in the London area. Room was excellent- clean, spacious and everything worked! Food was good and nice and hot too. Staff were friendly. Good place to stay for a trip to London- would definitely recommend. Can't think of anything I didn't like

The comfort, homely nature, the friendliness of ther staff and who were most help full when my partner collapsed and required medical attention. We cannot thank them enough. In this regard we would particularly like to mention Danny, one of the Hotel Managers. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I hope to return with my parents during the summer months.

The location was perfect, in the Clapham Common, which is a very nice small park, and near 2 metro stations. The staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. The breakfast was very nice with lot of choices and the food in the restaurant was great. The room was comfort and clean. The bathroom was nice and comfort, and there was a bathtub (which I prefer much more than the usual showers). Every morning there was a squirrel on the tree next to our window! It was beautiful! There was a laundry service, which we didn't use but it was good to know we could. There was no fridge in the room. There were no elevators and it was a bit difficult to carry our baggage on the first floor. The closet was very small. The window wouldn't open completely, but I suppose that was for security reasons, because our room was next to the terrace. Other rooms had better view of the park. There was no safe in the room, to keep out valuable staff.

The gentleman who greeted us on arrival was very friendly. The decor in the bar and diningroom was quite nice. The bedroom was very warm which was nice. We ended up turning off the heating. The room we were given was very dark, very small window. Even during the day we had to have the lights on. We found it difficult to read in bed as the bedside lights were not very good. The diningroom was quite chilly and the food wasnt great, generally a bit cold. There was no private sittingroom where a guest could sit and read a paper in peace. You had to sit in the bar.It was a bit impersonal. We stayed three nights and felt it was a bit expensive.

Breakfast was very nice. The price - £169 for b&b for two is expensive and whilst the accommodation is good the only reason we would return at that price is because there is nowhere else to stay nearby.

Very convenient for underground and buses. Good breakfast choice. Good menu for eating at the hotel/pub. Too expensive for type of rooms on offer. Would expect to pay these prices for inner city top hotel.

Our spacious and very comfortable room on the second floor overlooked Clapham Common and lovely old oak trees. The bed and lines were luxurious. The overhead shower did not have hot water, so we used the hand-held attachment instead (they quite nicely took 50 gbp off our bill for the inconvenience. A perfect place to be to recuperate during our five day stay!! The television in the breadfast room!

Location both in Clpaham and proximity to London.Availability of free parking.Rooms very tastefully furnished Carvery meal in restaurant was not of the same standard as the rest of the amenities and did not represent fair value for money.Breakfast good in comparison Our daughter's slightly less expensive twin room was more spacious and better fitted out than our double room

Although in a busy area, it was very quiet and peaceful, and the views from the room were beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room itself was extremely comfortable and spacious. The only complaint - and this is very minor - is that the bathroom toiletries were not replenished on the second day, which I would have expected in a hotel of this calibre. We'd certainly stay there again, and recommend it.
