It was exactly as advertised, in the centre of Whitley Bay The staff could not have been more helpful the rooms were large and spacious. Small point the carpet had rather a large stain in it |

Big room, very good shower. It was very noisey. We were working an event during the days and a few girls found the late night noise very loud. But it wasn't a massive problem, and we expected it. |

Very comfortable, with good size room and a 'proper' bathroom (shower and bath). Full breakfast included and a secure (gated) carpark. Recently refurbished with an inviting foyer and restaurant. Beware the classic double edged sword of a town centre location - very convenient, but potentially noisy if your room overlooks the main street. |

I have stayed at the Windsor on a number of occassions over the past 2 years and always found the rooms provided clean and the beds comfotable, The service is pleasant and the food reasonable at a competative price , breakfasts are OK The fresh orange at breakfast should not be concentrated but fresh , cartons are also . |

The staff tried their best and were friendly. The hotel was right near the sea and there were plenty of restaurants around. They were understanding when I had to leave early as my father was unwell. The rooms were quite basic, there was only one pillow each and they could not find any others. The bar was used for functions so we did not feel we could use it. The tv had no radio as it didn't have freeview which most hotels today have. |

location was good and the parking was safe behind gates, no internet connection. The room decor was tired and the carpet was badly marked. No room service. |

A very well run hotel with firendly and efficient staff and a very good restaurant. The location is very appropriate for shopping and seaside activities. The room we had was very warm during the night. |

The hotel was ideally situated to get out and about. The reception area was welcoming. The bedroom was large and well furnished and the bathroom had both bath and shower. The restaurant had good choices for both breakfast and evening. The secure car park was a bonus. We will definitely be returning. |

The Bazil restaurant was light and modern The hotel generally needs redecorating and updating. Carpets need replacing probably with floor tiles especially in the reception area. |

The choice and quality of cooked breakfasts was very good although the advertised continental options e.g. fruit, cheese meats etc were not laid out. The room was clean but could do with a revamp. The bathroom showed signs of dampness and mould on bath trims. the bath panel moved with draughts coming in from underneathe he bath. Some tiles were missing, cracked or dirty. |

The hotel was spotless, however if the decor in the rest of the hotel had been as good as the foyer and restaurant I would have given aa much better review. The ancient and quite scary lift |
