The hotel was comfortable, the owners very friendly and helpful and the location was good and views fantastic. The decor in the rooms was old fashioned and we did not like carpet in bathroom. |

I was very impressed with the cleaniness of the Hotel, very comfortable room, bed & linen, plenty of hot water in the shower & bathroom. Very pleasant & bright restraunt area with great view over looking sandy beach/bay. Whilst there was nothing I did not like about the hotel I must say that I was a little dissappointed with the quality/quantity of the one evening meal I had in the restraunt |

View Experience was terrible. Rooms had no black out curtains so was awaken at 6.00 AM. Owners have insisted on full price of the room being paid upfront, although this was not mentionned in booking. We were also thrown out of the room at 10.30 last day although hotel was empty. |

very clean. Good selection of info re eating out The meet & greet was a bit intense - they were very friendly & gave us every detail just too much after such a long drive. Car was blocked in by owner because they forgot that we were staying. |

Location is fantastic right on beach at Porth and close to Newquay, Watergate Bay and other lovely beaches. Relaxed atmosphere, honesty bar, breakfast was great. Nice patio to drink and relax. Off road car parking. New digital TV (Ryder Cup fan, not anymore). Information on Cornwall was fantastic. Not sure the prices for the room was fantastic value but you pay for location. Room was not huge. |

Friendly welcoming owners. Breakfast was good. Location of the hotel was excellent as not in centre of Newquay; so quieter; but the seaviews were fantastic. Local recommendation for food was good too. If staying for a long time space for luggage is restricted. |
