Nice Location Below my expectation as I was unable to find quality international standard hotel in the town and had to make do. This is a beach holiday hotel.

The location and view of newquay from the hotel room are wonderful. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The rooms are clean and tidy. The room sizes are a bit small and felt could have got more room for the money paid at other hotels.

On arrival we were given a room, at breakfast next day we were told that we had been allocated the wrong room and were asked to move to a smaller room. The manner in which this was done made us very uncomfortable,This allayed to the poor breakfast made us decide to move on.

A spectacular location on a headland just out of Newquay. The hotel staff were very welcoming and breakfasts were very good. The room was fairly tight for space and the bathroom was adequate, but very basic. We paid extra to get a balcony overlooking the bay. Money well spent. Bathroom was gloomy and needed airing.

The rooms are quite small. The staff is sufficiently professional but certainly not very warm. At arrival they asked advanced payment for the room altough the reservation was guaranteed with a credit card.

The hotel was right near the beach. The room was clean and tidied everyday. Staff were friendly and informal. Walls were a bit thin so noise from next room travelled a bit

Clean and friendly. Very good breakfast and quiet location close to the beach. Hotel was further from town centre than stated in description. A good 30 minute walk or £6 taxi fair.

It was not good value at all. I can say is that the room was clean and the hotel has sea views. The room was extremely small. The WiFi was not working. The hot water was not reliable.

Breakfast, Friendliness, Shower and bathroom soaps shower gel etc. Mattress. Excellant window sound proofing to keep out traffic noise. Apart from the bed mattress the actual bed. Lack of bedroom air conditioning. The ceiling fan gave out a noise and as it had to be on all night ( Very warm) it was inadequate. I am sorry but I would not recommend the Windward despite its good points I felt that it did not live up to the four star rating.

Good location nice breakfast room Poor value for money nearly 800 for a week in a small room which was not in anyway luxurious was too expensive. Four star aa rating seemed very optimistic.

The location was perfect overlooking Porth Bay. We had a premier room with balcony and thoroughly enjoyed having private outside space as the weather was gloious during our stay. Staff were attentive and relaxed, breakfast was cooked to order and served in a bright clean conservatory .Our room was clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff, scrumptious breakfast and excellent location. More like a b and b than a hotel. Breakfast only served between 9:30 and 10:30, including the weekend! Walls paper-thin...could hear snoring from someone in the next bedroom! Very early check out - 10:30.
