A friendly, family-run hotel situated in one of Fife's picturesque coastal villages, specializing in fresh fare, using local Scottish produce where possible.
Score from 89 reviews Very good 8.2/10
Overlooking the River Forth and with breathtaking views of Fife and Cramond Island, this bed and breakfast is just a 15-minute drive from Edinburgh.
Score from 1386 reviews Review score 6.8/10
This beautiful, independently owned, country hotel, nestled in 2 acres of gardens and woodlands, boasts stunning panoramic views across the Firth of Forth and houses one of the area's best...
Score from 136 reviews Excellent 8.6/10
An 8-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport, ibis Budget Hotel Edinburgh Park is just off the City of Edinburgh Bypass and a 30-minute walk from Edinburgh Park Train Station.
Score from 388 reviews Good 7.7/10
Staff very friendly and in a nice setting
A bit to quiet needs livening up a bit in the bar area.
This was our second stay and we weren't disappointed. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The location is perfect: good walks, good views, a beautiful and quiet village with easy travel to Edinburgh (a couple of minute walk to the train station). The staff are very friendly and the facilities exceed the very reasonable room price. We stayed here when we got engaged and returned for our wedding anniversary and I would be more than happy to return again and again...
The breakfast was quick and nice. However, I feel it wasn't as good as our last visit (though that was ~5+ years ago)
Convenient location for Edinburgh Festival with quiet environment, close to the shoreline for those early morning reflective walks. Friendly and efficient staff; nothing is a problem; wonderful food and hospitality; go for the full English breakfast! I just love the dining room ceiling from the ship - SS Orantes
If only the traffic would be quieter at 6.00 in the morning!!
Location , food, and staff
Room expensive, have stayed before and paid same price for a much bigger room, the room had a small side window which made room very dark,
Staff were friendly
room and bed size
Overpriced for quite an ordinary package, presumably taking market advantage from the neighbouring Edinburgh Festival.
Well positioned and a good service.
Location and friendliness of staff. A quaint hotel
Over priced by about £20 per night. Paying £90 per night for a 3 star hotel that needs updating is disappointing. At £70 it is fair and worth recommending.
2 minutes walk from the train station Clean room Presentable room Able to return late without fear of being locked out Beautiful location
The staff were friendly and breakfast was good
The busy road outside was noisy you could hear everyone in rooms and hallway Overpriced You couldn't watch TV and have bedside lights on or charge phone as only one plug the kettle had to Boil on floor when eventually found a plug nowhere near kettle TV way to small and faraway Doors slammed everywhere , floorboards creaked , basically had no sleep it was awful definately wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you bring sleeping pills
Quaint Village Nice walks
Water was hot and bed cosy
room to small and looked unkept.
We had food in the restaurant which was delicious.
I knew it was an old building without aircon but it really was too hot to sleep and you had to sleep with the window open. I did know all this but it might have been a nice touch to have a fan in room without asking. My friend did and we didn't.
staff all very friendly room was very nice and clean, food was good Had a lovely weekend thanks
hotel and pub staff.
Lumpy bed. Noisy street for front facing rooms (warm night with window open very noisy)
Beautiful bar. located within easy walk to train station, golf course and downtown shops.
Poor lighting in room and bath. Needed sealing fans in room as very warm weather during our stay. Plumbing needs to be checked as hot water came out of cold water facet.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location in nice town and close to golf and train stations. Breakfasts were great. Nice bar and lounge area.
Rooms were small. Beds not good and same goes with WIFI which worked inconsistently.
Staff, dining room, excellent and reasonable priced breakfast and evening meals. If in the area worth a look.
Tiny tv in bedroom.
people going out for a smoke at 6/45a.m. in the morning and on till 9a.m. and the floor aside the room needs to be replaced so it does not keep people awake. p.s. rooms need air con
The hotel was a beautiful Victorian building with some stunning features inside. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The room size was quite small and not much room to move around the bed. No seating options other than perching on the bed.
Great location. Nice room, very comfortable. Beautiful ornate ceiling in lounge. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
