The building is quaint. The staff are very friendly. The delicious food is imaginatively presented, with unusual ingredients and perfectly cooked. Breakfast menu superb
The plumbing was noisy, but there had been problems with the external supply and the refurbishment planned will address the plumbing
The location of the Woolly Sheep is fantastic we just love it for a weekend break or treat. The breadfast is beautiful along with all the staff. Will be back soon
Helpfulness of the staff. The building.
Have visited the woolly sheep before for a drinks and meals but never stopped there before. The room was very clean compact and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We loved being right in the centre of Skipton and being able to visit the shops and pubs without having to use a car. We stayed just after NewYear which can be a bit flat but we had a wonderful time and would like to think we would go back to stay again.
noisy at times
Friendly staff Big roaring fire in the bar Lovely bedroom Lovely bathroom Plenty of free parking Excellent breakfast Free half of Timothy Taylor's beer in the bar,for each of you
The radiator in the room was not working but they had put an electric heater in there, still, not as cosy as it should have been
the staff are great the room was very comfy and breakfast was just the job.
Loved are stay at the wooly sheep, on arrival we got a friendly atmosphere and felt very welcome. Food was excellent and breakfast inc in the the room was just the same, best scrambled egg I've ever had! Would definitely stay there again.
The price of a pint of peroni! Haha
Food excellent. Very comfortable and great welcome from a friendly and welcoming staff.
Not much to pick out, perhaps a bigger bed but no problems really.
Excellent location and breakfast
Everything really.Cant wait for an excuse to come again. We both,my daughter and I badly needed a break and the best bit ,I think, was that we were able to eat our meal in the snug with a roaring fire and a real Christmas tree.
Just a little thing.Yes it was!!! The tv was too small to enjoy. But even that is not really a complaint. We just turned it off and enjoyed the ambiance.
Location of the hotel is excellent for getting around and with safe parking
very poor WiFi not able to connect and the room all be it nice it was small.
lovely country Inn set in the heart if skipton. Comfortable seating around a roaring fire next to the bar which serves excellent Timmy Taylor's Ale. A separate dining area at the rear. Staff were polite and extremely helpful . Food very good.
everything from the welcome to the parking to the room to dinner to the breakfast was excellent
The staff were lovely. Great location.
Smell of smoke from fire downstairs in the bar. Both nights confusion over orders fro drinks/food. They did rectify but not impressed. The sound of a dripping tap ALL night over the bed. Sleep poor.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. Good location in the town centre, cosy warm atmosphere with a great selection of ales (Landlord) in the bar.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable, and the room was really warm and stuffy, did not sleep well. The evening meal was pretty good but the starter (soup), was much better than the main course (smoked haddock risotto).
Staff were very friendly the pub is like a tardis much larger than it looked . Good parking nice food good choice of drinks especially the cask ales. We loved the open fire . Lovely garden area for when the warm weather is here. Rooms were warm and cosy Would recommend this place
Nothing negative to say

Fantastic food, fantastic friendly staff, great selection of beers
The Staff couldn't do enough for you. Bedrooms lovely. Would recommend.
