Score from 194 reviews Very good
Didnt like the fact with a baby having to entry property through lots of steps and room then situated down and up steps which is hard work with a pram
The staff were very friendly. The food was good. It was nice that the hotel was on the sea front. The ensuite was very clean.
The bedside lamp was not strong enough to read by. There was only one bedside table which was not very convenient for one of us.
Excellent location & sea view
Lovely spot and views. Friendly staff and all the help you ask for is right there.
That the breakfast was not included in the price. So much easier to budget when breakfast is included.
Very polite staff and the view was superb
The hotel's location was central for all our needs, Beach, Shops, Good Restaurants, nice walks along the beach. We had Fish & Chips on the Friday evening that was excellent, very well cooked and good value for money I would highly recommend this. Thank you for a nice stay
Room didn't smell nice had to open window to get air and ths shower runs hot and then cold
I felt completely relaxed there the staff were friendly and helpful would go there again
Wasn't anything I didn't like with our stay.
I Didn't eat at the York because I could't get Carling Lager at the bar I come from B'ham Carling is very popular and as B'ham is only 100 miles from Weston I expected the York would sell it
Breakfast and bar area
Cleanliness of room
Our room wasn't serviced on day two of our stay. We were told it was because they are more used to coach parties. There was a disturbance on our first night which went on for 1 hour. We reported it but nothing was done
Fantastic menu. Lovely modern room.
The bed was comfortable, the location was on the seafront
When we arrived, quite late, the staff were a bit rude about being kept waiting, which wasn't nice after a long drive and I had informed them I would be late. The room was dark and dingy with an unpleasant smell. The breakfast was not good and should be included really, to reflect the quality.
clean tidy massive family room huge bathroom we would stay again
just being picky but tv was very small for room size other wise was nice place
Excellent location opposite the Grand Pier. Brilliant singer performing live on the terrace bar. Cheesy chips were yummy!
Although not the hotel's fault we didn't get much sleep due to the amount of noise from lorries on service road above which our room was situated.
The price, cleanliness of hotel, location and the food were all excelent. Some staff were very pleasent (the younger ones)
the bed was very uncomfortable, the man in reception looked grumpy, guests were in there nightwear in the restaurant and we were both woken in the night by extremly loud shouting and the banging and thumping of doors in the corridor by guests
location was close to the pier, which is what we needed for the older members of the party. everything was supplied that was needed. breakfast was lush!!
some decoration needs tidying up as some paint coming off wall. but not really a big deal as this is still great value for money
Your out side entertainment and atmosphere
Service was great, staff extremely helpful and friendly, food very good. Great value for money and rooms are being refurbished. We had a ground floor room. Would go again.
No view from window
lovely staff, nice but small room cleaned everyday, and fresh towels, excellent location had a couple of problems eg lamp not working, but they repaired within 5 min of metelling them thankyou
room a bit small for the price, very minimul, didnt like having a below ground floor had too have curtains closed all the time due too people could see in, could do with some nets
It was totally relaxing. Staff were lovely and they could not do enough for us.
Beds comfortable. Location good for the theatre.
Rooms were dark and dingy and very basic. Lift noisy. Shower didn't stay at a constant temperature. Over priced with no breakfast included. Communal areas to access rooms dirty.
Everything! We felt very comfortable. All the staff just lovely. What a happy atmosphere. Best sleep in a hotel for for years! Thank you Team York Hotel. You made us feel very special.
We had to go home.
friendly helpful polite staff good quality food and well cooked and well presented would stay again but not in a basic roo
