Well appointed, comfortable rooms. En suites were particularly good - modern and large in the two rooms our party had. We had requested a baby cot and this was provided with a large room allocated. For evening meals there is an Italian restuarant in the hotel (which we didn't try) and a few steps away is an excellent Indian Restaurant (which we did). Breakfast was average, but good value at £5. The scrambled egg with smoked salmon was a very generous portion. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again. Some visitors have commented on the poor quality of the towels. The ones we had certainly weren't 'thick and fluffy', but they were spotlessly clean and adequate. Do not be put off by these comments.

Staff were friendly and helpful, bed was comfy, wireless was available though the code I was given didn't seem to work Struggle to see in mirror while using the hair dryer, no radiator in ensuite, towels small, thin and bit raggy, room was large but cluttered and not enough sockets in the room

! good location and next door to a nice Indian Restaurant Tv in room was high up on wall space - confusing to operate. Towels in room were very frayed - considering price of rooms towels could have been better quality. Breakfast was good possibly too large portions!

As a business traveller on a medium budget the hotel and room were just about as good as I have experienced. I stay away every week so have seen many which fall well below what should be expected at this level .Easy access for parking behind hotel & level with entrance. Reception is quick and simple, rooms are decorated in modern style, very clean and a decent size. Although I booked a single the bed was 4ft with plenty of space. Tea, coffee, biscuits on first night, even a mini bar. Breakfast very good with a big choice form the buffet and cooked to order menu. The chef even told me she is renowned for her stack of pancakes. There is fresh fruit which you can take away and good coffee on tap as you help youself.. Minor point is lack of desk area but chest of drawers could be used. Who uses a chest of drawers in a hotel for clothes??

A lovely comfortable hotel, staff fantastic friendly and approachable, from the cleaner to the owner, smiling friendly faces, with great service throughout I loved the fact that in the rooms you cannot hear other guests moving around, such a bonus compared to lots of other places. The decor throughout is individual and attention to detail feels a very loved hotel. Breakfast is super, lots of choice and fresh cooked. The staff all seem to love their jobs, and make a stay here lovely Think the evening meal menu needs a refresh, quality not the issue more about the choices.

Hotel was dated, in need of refurbishing. Bath towels very shabby and well used. Part of the pleasure of staying in an Hotel is to have nice white fluffy towels. Soft furnishings dated, cushions on the bed were stained and stitching on the seams open.

Very reasonable cost. Good service. Good choice and well cooked breakfast. I would have preferred a pot of tea with my breakfast rather than hot water in a mug from a machine + tea bag

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfort and cleanliness of the room. Good breakfast. Excellent location for us, as we were attending a function at Linden House. No lift and rather a lot of stairs for my elderly father who was in our party. It seems there are no ground floor rooms for guests.

Pleasant friendly staff. Good sized well decorated room, everything I needed with a young baby in tow. Good restaurant, again - small & and friendly. Very easy to bring the baby down stairs and get a good meal in relaxed and comfortable surroundings. Easy with the baby! If I didn't fancy the menu there is a good Indian restaurant right next door, only a few yards away - literally. The only down sides were that our room was on the front and with no air con we had to have our windows open on a very muggy night, Not so bad but Tettenhal road is a very busy main road into Wolverhampton, so might annoy light sleepers, presumably there's no such problem with rooms at the back of the hotel. The Hotel only has a small yard at the back and has no grounds, not the end of the world. These are minor points and can't be avoided - it's a location thing! everything else about the place is good.

The friendly staff and the location for shops, restaurants and visits to local places of interest made my visit complete Please ask for a ground floor room if you have a disability as the hotel does not have a lift.

The Reception and service was warm and friendly. The Coffee and food was excellent. I have alrady recommended the hotel to friends and colleagues. I very much enjoyed my stay there. My roo had a skylight without a blind. This wasn't a problem in February but it might cause difficulties during the summer

As soon as ia rivved they said they were fully booked and I had told them that I had booked with you that morning and had email from you confirming it. Although I did not have a print off of this. Anyway they said their had been a cancellation and I could have that room. As I wanted to watch the horse racing I decided to put the televison on which not work. So I had no idea of time as I donot have a watch I had to go down stairs and see the time. On Sunday I left at 7.00 I wanted to get from there
