Staff were lovely, breakfast was fantastic, band in the bar Friday night were brilliant would definitely stay here again. Plenty of car parking.
Pillows too thin.
Location as it was close to an event I was attending. Staff were polite and friendly
Awful smell in corridors and rooms, carpets very dirty, matress was very uncomfortable and all springs could be felt. Pillows smelt very bad - even through the clean sheets
Staff very helpfull, very nice rooms
Check in Staff by Barman was excellent. Staff were helpful with the tv in the room. Close in proximity to Bexhill central
Well ... just about everything ... Single room bed mattress badly stained and no underblanket. Shower had mould all over. No bedside light so could not really read in bed. Entrance from the car park up the back stairs was filthy. Cigarette butts diry bucket, food leftovers not a pleasant entrance to go through. Breakfast was awful, egg and bacon swimming in fat and just plonked on the plate. No staff visible throughout service. Would not stay here again! No information booklet on how to operate tv or shower. Windows rattled all night.
I didn't stay at the hotel. They doubled booked.. Very kindly they found me another hotel, and payed half the room charge. I can not complain.
I liked it all
Room was better than I expected - spacious, bright, clean and with a comfortable bed.
Breakfast was served between 7.30 and 8.30 which is abit early when you want to take it easy!
Beer brand cheap
There was no atmosphere just screaming giggling teenage girls
very helpful staff. remarkable little noise given that there was a late license. verry good value for money. good location
bed was not very comfortable
Room Breakfast Bathroom
Beer Perpetual rubbish TV in the bar
Staff were freindly, breakfast was very good.
The room was big and reasonably clean but we had an extractor fan right outside the window that roared all night was a warm night so we had to close the window but could still hear it so I didn't get much sleep
Large room with good ensuite
Price and ok with dogs
Area had a lot of rough type pe
it is a pub not the ritz. It has beds and on-site car parking a good breakfast and the people are friendly. My room was fine, shower was good. It is 0.6 of a mile form the de warr pavilion where we were competing at motogymkhana and a good breakfast sent us on our way happy chaps
the bed was a bit tired springs could be felt through the mattress so I slept on top of the duvet which was better but not ideal.
Toiletries a nice touch. Tasteful decor. Not much noise from bar.
Street noise a little loud and too hot to close windows. On a cooler day this would not have been a problem. Maybe a fan needed?
Room was nice and big. Good quality tv and internet service. Big bar.
Breakfast can be bit boring after a few days. Parking was bit difficult on weekends.
The room was clean and "cosy" The price was indicative of the overall quality.
The mattress in the room I had was poor. Just springs no covering left on it. Good job it was summer as I slept on top of the duvet to avoid the springs. The staff were apologetic for this. There was no chair either.
the staff were very good kind helpful and very friendly and welcomed us very well worked very hard please give them some money so they could do the hotel up and make their life easier needs a lot of maintance
its very shabby looking needs work doing to it shower needs mending ,head board on bed needed mending carpets needed cleaning i liked our stay wouldnt complain as it was good but really needs doing up THANKYOU
Breakfast was okay for one guest
The fact that when booking they didn't advise that there would be music on till 12 midnight on a Sunday ! We couldn't sleep ' the music got louder when we asked for it to turned down , then as the room we were staying in was above the doors , you had the continuous banging of the doors when customers left the pub for a smoke and a loud chat , we couldn't shut the Windows as they were not lockable . All in all a bad experience , and the room smelt like a cat had sprayed the room . Never again
Sunday night was karaoke night and we were right above it. Extremely loud til 12:30am!!! Attention to detail. Was poor as no pillow cases on bed and no milk in courtesy tray and we ran out of toilet rolls.
Convenient for where I wanted to go
Breakfast was not good. No cereal bowls, no sugar, waitress not to be seen. Staircase to 1st floor very dark.
Broken shower Didn't refill tea/coffee Not very clean Old and worn hotel
Spacious room and en-suite.
Staff could not be bothered to get up for breakfast. Wasted 1/2 hour hanging on for service. Hotel breakfast room locked up tighter than a ducks backside. In spite of having paid for breakfast, left angry and hungry. Not good.
Staff friendly and breakfast excellent
Room needed decorating and repairs
Parking was convenient. People in the pub were nice and breakfast was on time.
The cleanliness of the room was dismal. That outweighed all the good. Would not go back.
The hotel was well placed for Bexhill town center and the sea front. The room was large with an average sized bathroom. The bedding and towels were clean and there was lots of hot water. The TV was nice and large and there was no noise from outside, even though our room was over the pub entrance.
Although we were supposed to have breakfast, all the doors to the pub lounge, where we were told breakfast would be served, were locked. Although we knocked loudly and phoned both the hotel and the EMERGENCY number, there was no reply! We eventually left putting the key through the letterbox. We would not return!
