We were there to visit family, and this was not our first visit to Bexhill, however, there are lots of neat places to visit, a good variety of restaurants and cafes, shopping and easy accessibility either by walking or public transport. Great little town and well worth a visit.

Bexhill is a lovely quiet town with a fabulous prom.
Bexhill is a lovely quiet town with a fabulous prom. The stone beach is fabulous and great for walking along.. The town has many cafes, restaurants and good pubs along with nice shops and charity shops to mooch around. There is also a large out of town Marks and Spencer a couple of miles away. The train station is central and there is a good service to Hastings and Eastbourne as well as London.

Bexhill has some really interesting independent stores including an excellent material and haberdashery shop. The Pavillipn is well worth a visit and has some great displays and a good restaurant. The really lovely place to eat is the Trattoria along the sea front with such lovely staff. A lovely beach that exposes sand when the sea is out.

We were there for a family meeting so didn't see a lot, but we did go into the town for food and can highly recommend Bentley's as food and service were excellent and fairly priced.
Currently a lot of road works going on which can cause hold ups but we did use two taxi services 247 cars and Town cars and both were punctual and reasonably priced for the length of journey and both with friendly polite drivers.
We also visited the Relais Cooden Beach Hotel and that was very nice.

Beautiful well equipped small town with an iconic theatre...
Beautiful well equipped small town with an iconic theatre which hosts music, comedy, plays and an art gallery. Lovely pebble beaches with plenty of rock pools and a wonderful promenade scattered with cafes, beach huts and a sailing club. A little way from the seafront is a classic Victorian park with a gem of a museum - one of its features is a model railway gifted to the town by the famous local comedian, Eddie Izzard (a working model of Bexhill from the 1960’s made by his dad). There’s lots of good quality eateries in the town and great varied scenery if walking is your scene. Bexhill does have good public transport - station and buses for visiting nearby towns and cities.

This is a delightful seaside town.
This is a delightful seaside town. Full of quant shops, arts & crafts, restaurant & bars, along with bigger supermarket brands and clothing shops.
The walkway along the seafront is long and wide with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the stunning views.
The place is kept clean.
Plenty of places to park but you do pay.
There’s public toilet facilities.
The Delaware building host exhibits, plays and concerts.
Bus service is good and there’s a trains with connections to other coastal areas and London.
I fall in love with Bexhill more each time I visit.
We felt incredibly welcome thanks to Rachel and Andy! They really are the sweetest!
Binkie, our Jack Russell, also got enough attention.
Super cozy B&B. We had a wonderful room on the 2nd floor with good beds and coffee and tea making facilities.
Every morning we were served a fantastic breakfast.
We had nice conversations and got a lot of tips for the area.
The beach is a 2 minute walk away and Hastings is about 15 minutes by car.
Enough restaurants nearby and supermarket also within walking distance.
We hope to visit again!
The location is 2 minutes from De la Warr Pavilion and beach in Bexhill. Ideal if you are going to an event, or just want a relaxing seaside break.
My room was very nicely furnished at the top of the house, large en suite bathroom.
Breakfast - excellent menu. I asked for just a continental breakfast and was delighted to have fresh fruit salad, super croissants with cheese, yogurt, and excellent pot of tea.
I found the location was ideal, and the guest house very friendly and welcoming.I will definitely stay again when next in Bexhill.
This was our first week away in a long time and our first with our nervous rescue dog Loki, and it was perfect. The cottage was cosy, clean and well located.
Situated in a quiet area the cottage is near pubs, restaurants and the train station so you're never far from your next adventure.
It was the perfect base for our adventures and Loki loved it as well.
There was a welcome basket for us and the dog which really was the perfect start.
Couldn't recommend enough.
Dippy cottage is in an ideal location to visit the surrounding area of Sussex. We love the character of how it’s decorated, Jo our host leaves a lovely welcome hamper on your arrival, which includes essentials and a few luxuries. All facilities you need for a short or longer stay. Lovely enclosed garden with seating. You are able to park directly outside the property too. It’s a short walk into Bexhill or down to Cooden Beach.
Sam(antha) was lovely to converse with. Anything we needed to talk about i.e the e-mail I deleted with the WiFi password :-( she was a quick call away. Cant praise her enough.
The place is phenomenal, easy access to the beach, a lovely hotel 2mins down the road with a nice little area for a meal or a nice oceanic beer or two ;-)
Overall 5 stars.
Thanks Sam.
Location is 2 mins from the beach. Well equipped for a short stay, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle. Thanks for the teabags! Right next to a corner shop but cross over the road and you're at the De La Warr and seafront. Very clean. I was in the downstairs studio. And a much needed fan!! Would definitely stay again, great communication from the host.
Clean and as described. Some confusion on entry as Booking.COM had sent us information relating to another property in the building. However, the owner called and the issue was resolved over a phone call. Easy access into Bexhill. Facilities looked comprehensive although this was a flying visit and we barely used them. All good.
Coast B&B is moments from the seafront and very close to all the local shops and cafes in Bexhill. The whole place is spotlessly clean and stylish. Our room was well equipped with everything we needed . Superb breakfast with heaps of choice and all freshly cooked. Lucia was just lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!
The welcome.
The bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
The ambience.
The comfort.
The food.
The staff and management.
For each of the above just one word describes them all; BRILLIANT.
We stayed 3 nights and nearly one week later neither of us have changed our opinion.
The Driftwood Hotel was a truly wonderful discovery.
The location to the town was a 5min drive away. The Little Garth is located in a quiet residential area with plenty of street parking. We wouldn't hesitate but to recommend this place. The couple who run this place are very accommodating. The breakfast was a delight. We will definitely be returning in the future.
My stay at this guest house was nothing short of exceptional. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, the room impeccably clean with a luxuriously comfy bed, and the breakfast a delightful culinary experience. It felt like a 5-star hotel with the personal touch of a welcoming home. Highly recommended!
Location, lovely top floor room that was light and airy with great sea views. Very comfortable with some very nice complimentary shower gel, body lotions etc from a local Sussex company. One of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had in the very chilled and relaxed restaurant with very friendly staff.
This place is just the nicest hotel we have found in this area! Location is great.
Rooms / beds are comfy
Super clean
Service is ALWAYS fab.
Great to be back and new management seem to have taken over seamlessly , seating improved outside and lovely to see some familiar waiting staff too!
Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden, the hosts left a welcome package full of lovely items. The place had everything you need with parking and was within reach of the beach, Bexhill and other nearby towns like St Leonards and Hastings. Wonderful stay thank you!!
A lovely large, clean, well equipped room. Very comfortable king size bed, large tv, tea & coffee making facilities, spacious bathroom with large walk-in shower. overlooking Bexhill seafront. very tasty home-cooked breakfast. very friendly and helpful staff.
How engaging the staff were even though they had to work with challenging, Covid restrictions. Location is great for getting around Bexhill. Early check-in was very useful. So good to have access to Netflix. Double bed was super comfy
The hospitality of the owner was amazing and the location was the best! Staying in bexhill doesn't get much better than this place! Great food options near by and easy access to the beach.
The breakfast at Coast BnB was really wonderful. I just loved those berry pancakes! My room was stunning in design and very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay in Bexhill!
