- The staff were all very polite and helpful. - Cleaning was spotless. - The location could not be better. Close to the tube and within walking distance of Oxford Street. - Breakfast was really nice. I will difinetly stay here again!
The room was extremely hot and it turned out to be something with the AC needing to be set on "ice symbol". It would have been nice to know - perhaps a sign in the room could help others? The room was very small which wasn't a problem but the fact that there were no hooks for any of the towels was. It would be nice with a couple of suction disc mounted hangers. Lastly the staff were great but didn't seem to know anything about Gatwick airport for instance they could not tell us if there were any restaurants at the airport.
Decor of the room was nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Great location and rooms are well soundproofed.
Overall pricing is not as attractive when put in context of the very small room size. There was no cupboard, and the wi-fi was slow.
Staff was great
The rooms was very small me and my wife are not biggest people and found it very uncomfortable I would not stay again
location is great, so many good restaurants and close to good shopping.
the room is REALLY small! fortunately I was travelling light as I am not sure where i would have put my suitcase. Also there was not really space to work on a laptop, I had to move the kettle and tea/coffee making unit onto the floor to set down my small laptop. not a big deal but be aware for business travellers.
Location, friendly staff, free cheese and wine buffet, delicious breakfast buffet
Room was even tinier than I expected (and it was a Queen) but we were only there to sleep. The room was rather chilly even though we tried to alter the thermostat
for value for money very good ,think the wine and cheese in the evening very good service also the breakfast very good
the lighting in our room was very poor ,trying to get ready to go out in the evening was a dreadfull I would rather pay more and get decent lights !!!
It's ideally located in the West End. Tiny room but very clean, modern, very friendly staff and to top it up, they offer wine & cheese for happy hours. Great breakfast too.
Quirkiness, bar facilties, friendly staff, good location. Early check in. Room was very small but adequate for our needs given we only stayed for one night and literally just slept there.
Bed was very hard and you had to climb over the other person to get out of the bed. Room was very small for the price.
The location is amazing. Really easy to get to both the metro or a cab as it is just near a crossroad of 2 major roads. The staff went out of their way to help and accommodate any request we might have had.
The bathrooms are weird, if you are not alone you can not get full privacy at the toilet - for me and my wife that was too weird. There is 1 sliding door that slides between the shower and the toilet which are adjacent to each other with a glass separating them. While sitting in the toilet you can see the bed (and vice versa) - we had to go out of our way not to be in an observing point of view and turned on the TV so the sounds of the bathroom won't be heard. The bed is not very wide. And if the site states 131-150 cm - it's 131... not more.
Attentive and welcoming staff, who always recognised and acknowledged me. The complimentary (and unexpected) wine and cheese reception was just the ticket, and the quirky design of the building was great! The room was small (as expected) and was all that I needed for a one-night stay.
Lack of clothes storage space would be a minor issue on a longer stay, but is OK on an overnighter.
Location and drinks reception and Sky TV.
No toothpaste in the room and the lighting was extremely dim. There was also only 1 plug socket in the room which when booking for 2 people becomes an issue.
roome to the streat are quite noisy + rooms are quite samall
Expensive for what you get
Small rooms, no cupboards to hang or put away clothes. Could not unpack. No chair in room.
Location and nice friendly staff .
Noisey air con in the room .
Friendly staff Immediate proximity to theatres & galleries
No complaints at all
We regularly visit Soho for comedy gigs etc. and don't like spending more than £300 for the overnight stay. The Z Hotel with its free cheese and wine between 5 & 8 (also excellent cheese) and it's small but well fitted rooms (we stayed in the one up from the basic, I think it was a queen) fits the bill perfectly. Perfect location at Cambridge Circus, which, thanks to George Smiley, is my favourite circus!
The bed is a bit hard for my taste. I would say the room size but they make no secret of it, that's why the price is so good.
Excellent location. Clean and friendly staff. Wine and Cheese treat was very well received. Kettle in the room was handy.
Worse coffee. Breakfast was generally very poor. The rooms are not made for two people. The bed was very small. Rooms are so tiny that there is hardly any room to store a cabin suitcase. On high price range given the rooms size and comfort level.
Everything especially the staf, they where very helpful & friendly, we had an fantastic time and would stay here again. We had out 3 yrs old grand daughter with us and she was made very welcome.
Nothing, rooms where small but we new that when booking. And it wouldn't stop me from staying again.
Arrived in London around 7am having flown in from Devon. The hotel happily looked after our luggage, whilst we wandered the streets of London. We were able to book in to our room around 2pm, which allowed us to change for the theatre....which is less than a stones throw away...as is the J D Witherspoon pub..After theatre back to hotel for the complimentary cheese and wine...very good it was too.Straight out then to take in the many sights of Soho and a meal in Chinatown..Then back to the hotel to sleep, and still only 9.45.....what party animals.!!!!!!
The room was a little small, but in the location you would pay a lot more for a larger room. We had an outside room and were disturbed by revellers, but jyst jealous having been too tired to party.....will definitely be booking again..
bright, modern room
one single public toilet, extremely small room
Excellent location, really friendly staff, modern hotel
The rooms are incredibly small. The bed is against a wall, making look like a teenager's bedroom.
Helpful staff Great location Nice little bar Clean, modern room
Micro-room was cramped when there were two of us.
Great location and friendly staff. So close to all the theatre's and restaurants. The room was OK functional etc.
The main sales point in my opinion is the location. The room although functional are not really suitable for a stay of more than a couple of nights.
