The Z Hotel Soho  

The location is superb, the facilities absolutely immaculate and the staff extremely charming, well-informed and helpful.

Perfect location, really attentive staff and great free wine and cheese (good quality, not the normal "free" stuff you get at hotels). Surprisingly quiet rooms and nice overall feel.

A little too small for comfort there really wasn't a spare inch and it did feel cramped more than "snug" - but they have certainly made best use of the space! Bed was also a bit firm, mattress felt cheap, though pillows and sheets etc were good quality.

The location and the courtyard

The rooms are tiny and I was provided a double despite booking a Queen. The claim of soundproofing is spurious: my room was over an all night bar that kept going until 3.00 a.m.

The staff high quality cafe central location

I am 6ft 4" - so too tall for the ensuite cubicle The bed fills the width of the room - so my wife had to climb over me to get to the toilet in the night. Good job we had earlier experiences of caravanning!

Location was fabulous: Within 5 mins walk of Covent Garden, Leceister Sq, Haymarket, Oxford and Regent St and within 10 mins of all the parks and spots on Thames.. Staff was super friendly and helpful and approachable

I love the Z. Quiet, comfy beds, great TV, friendly staff and convenient. Just don't tell anyone else!!!

Don't let Them book a taxi for you. You will get a private taxi with fixed prices way over regular prices. Seems like the hotel would have an agreement with such companies.

Friendly, helpful staff; complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon; excellent location for theaters, shopping and walking to the Tube or city sites. The room is small-- they told us it would be-- but very clean and efficient.

Too bad there was more than one outlet for power, but we will not stay anywhere else when we return to London..

Room very small. Fine for a night, but not for much longer.

Location is fantastic and the staff could not be faulted,all very helpful and friendly, would stay again no problem.

Bed was very hard,the room we had was tiny for two guests but ok for one night, it would be alright for one person for the weekend,

Complimentary cheese and wine in the bar in the evenings. Very convenient for shopping, eating, theatre, coffee shops. Very well priced.

Rooms were very small. Ok for me as a single traveller but not sure iff my husband would cope.

Great location, ambience and service

Poor wifi coverage on 5th floor

We arrived to a friendly welcome with a complementary glass of wine, bread and cheese. Hotel is beautifully designed, intelligently using every square centimetre of space. Ideally situated for theatres and sightseeing - perfect for a few nights stay.

The hotel was very clean and friendly with good extras such as fruit on reception, water in the rooms and the wine and cheese period in the evenings. The staff were very accommodating, serving us drinks late at night.

Shower did not drain away

Excellent location in the middle of soho with easy access to theatre district and underground stations. Staff pleasant and friendly. Clean and tidy. Offer of complimentary wine and cheese between 5-8pm for guests in bar.

Room was very small for price and was difficult to fit two people in comfortably. Shower room not waterproofed and left water on bedroom floor. No room service or fridge facilities. No information booklet in room.
