Not clear where reception is as it is the hotel bar
All staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel was spotless. Rooms were lovely and clean and cleaned daily and thought it was excellent that the cleaners came and asked if the standard of our room was acceptable in which it most definitely was. Excellent location! And loved that the hotel offered free wine and cheese during 6-8. Great stay
Menu for food was very limited with a lot of the food pre packaged so it couldn't be altered and very pricey but the staff were very helpful and found something for me to eat :)
The staff were superb very helpful, friendly and courteous. My wfe does not use lifts no problem they said we will put you in the 'Queen Room' located on the mezanine floor. Excellent because it was just a short walk up one flight of stairs. This room is spacious and the shower facilities are very good.
If the Queen Room is not available then all other rooms are located on floors 6, 7 and 8. Not a problem if you don't mind using a lift. But its a long walk up the stairs if you do
Everything. Staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Room was first class. Free wine and Cheese was unlimited. Would highly recommend.
The TV screen was huge, The location is perfect. The price is fairly good for its quality. Generally I had a very good time there.
No toothbrush & paste. Wifi not very good.
Great location and value for money, and the complimentary wine and artisanal cheeses in the evening were an unexpected bonus.
Close to all main attractions Modern room with good TV Clean and tidy room Offer of complimentary cheese and wine between 6-8pm Great shower!
Only one plug in the room - very strange! Especially coz it was away from the bed. Not many places to stow baggage Bathroom a bit cramped and not enough places to hang wet towels
Like everything! Room was small but extremely clean. Great location. Very good value for money.
I Liked the location of the hotel and the hotel was very clean. The bed was also very comfortable. It is definitely value for money as the hotel delivered on most grounds. I would recommend it to anyone travelling solo and on a budget.
There was no telephone in the room to ring reception. Also, they only had one lift for all guests which was inconvenient at most times. Lastly, the wifi could be better.
Terrific location, just 5-10 minutes walk to Liverpool One/ Albert Dock. The Cavern Club is even closer, we saw a fantastic Beatles tribute act there called Made In Liverpool. Try the La Vina tapas restaurant down the street, which is cosy, candlelit and the food is great. The Z's 'cheese and wine hour' in the evening is a nice touch too.
Nothing we didn't like, though we were initially thrown by there being no wardrobe in the room, and by the frosted-glass bathroom/toilet compartment.
Location fantastic, simplicity/speed of check-in.
What's not to like - how much space do you need in a room that you're only gonna sleep in?
Clean, modern, central location, free coffee/tea in room, rooms looked very new, big tv screen with lots of sports/movie channels for free, no windows in the room wasn't a problem at all.
no safe in room, no fridge in room
Not quite enough surface spare or plugs for recharging devices
Stylish, clean hotel. Well situated and very comfortable bed! Would stay there again.
The bed, the cleanliness and the facilities were all great lovely sized TV.
The fact we didn't have a windows didn't bother us as we thought we must have a room on the inside of the building. However we don't understand why the window was blocked over as we were on the outside? Also the staff charged me 3 pounds for a pint of orange squash which they told me was their staff supply anyway. A bit steep.
Cheese and wine nice touch
A real nice, central Hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Liverpool.
Everything was great, except the lift.
Lift was slow and very busy and you can not use the stairs
When we arrived the receptionist told us that he had upgraded our room fo us. Lovely surprise. Also the complimentary cheese and wine was lovely :)
Rooms to small. Bed up to window making it hard to get in bed.room was cold
lack of space
Free wine and cheese, good service, great location, fantastic value for money.
Toilets basically within the bedrooms. It was ok but probably not a good choice if you have not been with your significant other for some time...
Friendly staff Discounted parking Clean Location good
Room far too small Bed far too small Bathroom divided by glass to bed was horrible Window was drafty Noisy, could hear all the street noise Lift far too small and slow Bar far too small Overpriced for what was given Worth around £50 not £110
