    Great attention to detail.

Front desk staff was a little "over-friendly" and should perhaps be slightly more business-like.

The staff we very accommodating and attentive. The room was well appointed and the amenities were nice. The shower was GREAT!

The room was a little small, but I enjoyed my stay.

The Superior Double was lovely. We got upgraded from a Standard and although it was OK for a couple of nights, the furnishings etc. were a bit tired. Location great so close to Modern Pantry and Workshop Coffee. Really quiet and serene.

Had major issues with check-in and staff were less than helpful, which really marred our whole experience. Service differs greatly from Townhouse to Hotel - be careful which one you're booking.

The brasserie is a buzzing place that serves healthy food. The rooms make you feel like you're at home, rather than staying in a hotel. The location is good, only a 15 minute walk from St Pauls. Good wifi.

I loved the central location of this hotel and the fact that you could walk to so many neighborhoods and avoid alot of touristy areas. Great restaurants and shopping in Islington and Shoreditch. Staff was very helpful and generous.

    The staff. The interior.

The bed in a standard room is super small. It would be impossible to sleep two in that bed. I am only 1.84 and my toes stuck out. The bed was comfy for one but would give a sleepless night for any couple that hasn't just met.

Bathroom layout. Bedside table layout. Number of windows. Friendly Staff. Great neighborhood.

The bed was too soft for our liking.

One of the elevators was out of order and it stayed so for 4 days. We always had to be taken to our room by some member of staff because the machine producing the electronical key cards was also out of order and it could not be repaired or replaced for 4 days ! The room was spacious but not conveniently equipped.

Comfort of bed and linen great.

Disappointed not to have a fridge in the room and no turn down service especially as rate v high. Discussed this with staff who were very accommodating.

Stayed at the Zetter a few times but on this occasion I was lucky enough to be given a room on the top floor with a balcony. It was such a pleasure to look out over London at night and have the cool breeze that comes with an open door. Nice traditional food in the restaurant for a reasonable price and a great if expensive selection if wines. The place feels comfortable in itself not pretentious just a nice comfortable place to stay with its own distinctive style.

The smaller cheaper rooms feel it and the bar can get a little crowded if there's a party dining. Staff are efficient but a little standoffish adding to the French feel but in a way that's quite nice. Very much a hotel for grown ups.

Situated on a very picturesque square the Zetter itself is a very nicely appointed hotel. Comfortable room, great bed, feather pillows. Great restaurant and bar, first class breakfasts, especially the Pea Pancakes! Excellent location to explore central and east London. The local neighbourhood is full of interesting surprises. Lovely staff top off a great London experience.

Cab drivers unable to take credit cards. But that has nothing to do with The Zetter!

    Nice contemporary room

Late night porter wasn't very polite and toilet in our room didn't work. It was our wedding night so slightly disappointing, we were given a complimentary breakfast but that didn't really make up for the running toilet that kept us awake and having to travel to the basement to use the loo

Had a quiet room overlooking pretty St John Square. Stylish hotel. Very friendly staff. Breakfast very good too.

Single large overhead shower head means hard to shower without soaking hair. Not good if in a hurry in the morning!

Great location, great decor, though I prefer the corner rooms to the ones with private balconies because the corner rooms have more light and a more comfortable layout.

Thoughtfully designed and eco-friendly. Very comfortable rooms with excellent restaurant.

While ok for us the smallish double beds might prove problematic for tall couples.
