posizione tranquilla e centrale..prima colazione ben servita, silenzioso alla reception cambiano spesso e forse non fanno appunti,perchè se chiedi una cosa devi aspettare un tot.. |

Hotel ubicato in una zona tranquilla ma vicinissimo a tutte le strade e piazze piu' importanti di Edimburgo.Colazione ottima e abbondante.Gentilezza di Enatalia dello staff sempre disponibile. Non viene praticata un adeguata pulizia giornaliera;le finestre , poiche' sono sigillate, non si possono aprire per cambiare l'aria viziata della camera.Ci siamo lamentati, ma non hanno provveduto.L'arredamento della nostra camera era completamente nero con le luci molto basse e dava un aspetto molto tetro.Arredamento da rinnovare. |

Ottima collocazione, centrale e facilmente accessibile con i mezzi pubblici. Stanze molto ampie , arredi eleganti. Prima colazione scarsa , assolutamente non all'altezza di un 4 stelle.Personale di sala in difficoltà nel gestire l'afflusso dei clienti |

posizione centrale La stanza assegnata non corrispondeva neanche lontanamente alle illustrazioni presenti sul web (se le immagini non corrispondono alle camere standard ma alle suite, non e' forse meglio specificarlo?)e non era dotata dei comfort descritti che si addicono ad un hotel a 4 stelle (stanza piccola,no minibar e cassetta di sicurezza,colazione scarsa) L'hotel e' classificabile massimo come un tre stelle |

le camere (eravamo nell'ala vecchia dell'hotel) sono un po' vetuste, piccole e poco luminose. Pare stiano realizzando un'area com camere più moderne |

Centrally located, nice & quiet street, friendly staff On arrival we had to carry our suitcases ourselves up to the second floor (no lift & there were no porters), for two days we could not get any shampoo despite several reminders, the room was not cleaned during the day, the door to the loo could not be shut up (the door or the frame was warped), some light bulbs have burnt out, the window could not be opened wide enough (for safety reasons maybe, but as a result it was stuffy in the room) |

The staff at the hotel were very helpfull and friendly, the bed was very comfortable and the room was elegant.The restaurant was excellent. The room was on the front of the hotel and very noisy at times,so I had great difficulty getting a nights sleep. There was only 6 working bulbs in the chandelliar and the plug for the hairdryer was in a strange place. |

This hotel was recommended by a friend and the only disapointment was that the I paid for an upgrade but was not available on arrival although alternative accomodation was porvided. |

Excellent service, excellent reception staff, excellent cleaning staff, excellent breakfasts - what else can one say +++++++++ A lift would be good however I realise that is impossible. |

Very helpful desk clerk and very comfortable, modern room. I was there only one night and had to leave at 3:30AM for an early morning flight, so I can't comment on the breakfast. The porter was there to take by bag to the taxi.. There were four windows overlooking Albany street. All were equipped with handles for opening them, but only one would actually open, and it would not stay up. I finally wedged the Yellow Pages book under it so I could get some air on that warm night |

the location was convenient This is really not a 4* hotel!!! the state of the room was poor 90% of the lamps didn't work, a mirror in the bathroom was missing. the furniture was all scratched, it was quite dustyand the room was not ready when we arrived. also the breakfast didn't include any hot offers and the danish were dry (old). |

Fantastic rooms, beautifully refurbished. Excellent location, friendly staff. TV in Bathroom didn't seem to work and a light bulb was faulty (which did not matter as we were hardly in the room due to the fine weather!). Breakfast shift on one day seemed understaffed to cope with a busy morning. |
