This classic Victorian building offers modern air conditioned bedrooms next to Cardiff Castle and 500 ft from the Millennium Stadium. It has an elegant restaurant, bar and free health club access. Many rooms at Barceló Cardiff Angel have views of historic Cardiff Castle and it’s grounds. Every room features a TV, tea and coffee, a private bathroom and for an extra fee, wireless internet. The Angel’s residents have free access to Vitality Gym & Health Club, half a mile away. The fully air conditioned club offers exercise machines, weights, a sauna and steam room. Cardiff’s small central area means that this hotel is just 330 ft from peaceful Bute Park, boutiques and many restaurants. The central train and bus stations are a 5-minute walk away. Great Location, Wow factor at entrance, Grand design, Very well equipped and comfortable room. Excellent deal. Great value for money esp with breakfast included. Lovely spacious room. Everything was to a high standard. Enjoyable stay overall.

Location excellent. Parking was an issue and not just with us, there were many couples complaining about the same thing, hotel staff were young an inexperienced, hotel was tired, thread bare carpets, we have stayed in better b&bs. Wouldn't recommend without warning!

We enjoyed the whole feel of the building and the staff. Very good breakfast. Would visit again. Excellent location. Nice bathroom. If we had needed the room service it looked very good. Decor in room 305 was a bit tatty in places. Difficult to angle the tv to watch in bed. I have a bit of trouble mounting steps. The entrace steps were a bit steep. Good to see you have wheel chair access.

The staff was very attentive. Location is nice right across from the castle plus a short walk to the shopping. Rooms were upscale and comfortable. Excellent wi-fi service free in the lobby and a small fee in the room. Car park is outside and easy to access.

Attractive building and ambience to the interior. Our room was small which was fine but the dark decor and furnishings made it feel gloomy. Some reception staff were quite business like and not that friendly.

The fact there was car parking at your hotel, very important to us, we knew we had to arrive earlyish to get a space. But we didnt mind . we stayed in room 307 was very nice especially with the seperate sitting room, the only fault iwe could pick with the room, was the thread bare carpet, very surprised at this as the hotel been refurbished recently, the christmas staircase was beautifull The thread bare carpet, also rhe fact the car park was run on first come first served basis

Entrance very grand, room let it down. Large room. Good location Very noisey road (expected that), party down stairs with bass pumping through our room untill 1am. Ok its christmas but would have been nice to have been warned. Room - not as clean as could have been. Only one set of towels. Volume control in bathroom hanging out of wall, shower had alot of scum around. Kettle extremly old and slow.

Good convenient location for Millenium stadium and shopping. No guaranteed parking- road closed off for rugby match- had to park elsewhere beforehand . Room was very cold despite full air con. Some of the decor was shabby in places. Breakfast was expensive - over £35 for a family of 4. There are no leisure facilities.
