Wifi login difficult.
We were travelling with a 3 month old. Travel cot all set up for us ready. Room a very good size. Excellent facilities and staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. It made our stay relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. Also the breakfasts were amazing!
Only criticism was it was slightly noisy on Friday as our room overlooked the beer garden but it wouldn't put me off staying again because everything else was so good!
Great location, friendly staff and good food.
Room was a bit grotty and the wifi didn't work. Expertly slightly more for the price.
Really lovely friendly staff, great breakfast, welcoming bar, in a great location. Really comfy bed!
It's good that I was pre-warned about the late-night noise from the bar and street. It didn't spoil my enjoyment as I am a good sleeper and was prepared.
Customer Service levels. Was great to have the option of an early breakfast. Great bed linen and pillows - had the best nights sleep.
Corridors were very dusty. Rooms were clean but public areas not so. Other than that minor thing, nothing
Location and food
The location is excellent and the building is quirky. The decor was very nice.
Parking - the hotel parking area is quite small and full so we went into the nearby multi-storey.
Friendly staff, excellent food and clean family room. Great Hotel.
We ordered a packed lunch for the following morning and an early morning call for 5am as we had to be at ferry at 6am. We didnt get an early morning call which made us late and packed lunch very poor and no drinks either.
Location, the friendly staff, the attention to cleanliness, and the long period in which you can get breakfast (7 to midday)
Little noisy late afternoon until midnight due to revellers in the beer garden.
My husband and i stayed in the Antelope at the end of August 2014 and found the staff so nice and polite and always asking if everything was alright, also the room was perfect and a tv on the wall with tea and coffee facilty it was great nice and ckean . The breakfast first class we couldnt fault it and a good selection of items to eat along with a lovely cooked breakfast.the reception staff were also very helpful, and the evening meal was delicous too. We would book again at this hotel when we go that way again as we classed it as a good four star, we were more than happy with our stay.
The location was lovely
Lack of parking
Friendly staff, lovely room, great location, delicious breakfast
Bathroom was slightly dated but this didn't spoil our stay in any way
Parking ace food was nice easy to find central
Noises seagulls but that comes with location
None to report!
Warm welcome and own carpark. Proximity to ferry port. Wandered around old port.
Room was at the far end of the building.
Location, central position with parking, right in the town and easy walk to shops and harbour. Great breakfast with plenty of choice, very friendly staff, good beer and good service overall, would definitely go back.
Noisy seagulls early in morning but not the hotels fault and we did get use to it to be honest, and anyway who wants to stay in bed when your away!!!
I really enjoyed our stay the staff and people were very friendly lovely location, nice hotel. Would come again!!
Need upgrading a little bit especially the bathrooms
Breakfast is great and good choice, friendly staff. Fantastic location to the Quay and high street. Clean.
Wifi was not the best, and the sofa bed not the most comfortable bed for our son, and very little space in the room to walk round beds.
Location, friendly staff, good room and good breakfast.
Excellent room. Very comfortable. Good for ferry early breakfast provided.
Noise. Found bar and not reception had to wait to be checked in.
Noise from street
room, staff in the morning a bit stressed as working on their owns and too many guests to attend to.
The room was very clean and the food was lovely. The location was very good.
The family room was a small and we couldn't see out of the windows. There didn't seem to be enough staff.
PERFECT LOCATION CLOSE TO TOWN AND HARBOUR VERY HELPFUL STAFF NICE BAR VERY COMFORTABLE BED
ROOM WAS IN NEED OF RE-DECORATION. WALLPAPER PEELING OFF. THE FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST COULD BE BETTER.
The comfort of the recently redecorated rooms. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The location steps from the port of Poole. The pub and the atmosphere of the dining room.
The constant all night cries of seagulls. The rather inconsistent quality of the food and often small portions. The excellive cost of the rooms.
