Location, central position with parking, right in the town and easy walk to shops and harbour. Great breakfast with plenty of choice, very friendly staff, good beer and good service overall, would definitely go back.
Noisy seagulls early in morning but not the hotels fault and we did get use to it to be honest, and anyway who wants to stay in bed when your away!!!
I really enjoyed our stay the staff and people were very friendly lovely location, nice hotel. Would come again!!
Need upgrading a little bit especially the bathrooms
Breakfast is great and good choice, friendly staff. Fantastic location to the Quay and high street. Clean.
Wifi was not the best, and the sofa bed not the most comfortable bed for our son, and very little space in the room to walk round beds.
Location, friendly staff, good room and good breakfast.
Excellent room. Very comfortable. Good for ferry early breakfast provided.
Noise. Found bar and not reception had to wait to be checked in.
Noise from street
room, staff in the morning a bit stressed as working on their owns and too many guests to attend to.
The room was very clean and the food was lovely. The location was very good.
The family room was a small and we couldn't see out of the windows. There didn't seem to be enough staff.
PERFECT LOCATION CLOSE TO TOWN AND HARBOUR VERY HELPFUL STAFF NICE BAR VERY COMFORTABLE BED
ROOM WAS IN NEED OF RE-DECORATION. WALLPAPER PEELING OFF. THE FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST COULD BE BETTER.
The comfort of the recently redecorated rooms. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The location steps from the port of Poole. The pub and the atmosphere of the dining room.
The constant all night cries of seagulls. The rather inconsistent quality of the food and often small portions. The excellive cost of the rooms.
Beds - very comfortable and clean, homey and rich, but not too bad a price excellent breakfast option decent evening meal for a relatively good price
Having to leave so soon. Lift suitcases to the second floor. only steps.
Central, clean, modern, comfortable, good food and friendly bar/restaurant staff, close to High Street and port.
Unfriendly check-out lady, noisy wedding until midnight...room above venue, even though emailed prior to arrival to say to please give us room away from any wedding venue.
Excellent choice and service at breakfast.
Small and extremely hot room facing a noisy road. No food available in the restaurant on late arrival at 22.30 h.
Location Staff Quirky Comfortable Wifi Family friendly
We asked at reception the day before our stay if we could book in early. On the day of our arrival, we arrived a couple of hours early and the front desk advised that our rooms were all ready. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating.
Unfortunately, although the room was extremely comfortable the cleanliness was slightly disappointing as the bath mat still contained the previous occupiers hair. Even with the window open the room was very warm but this was to be expected for the time of year.
I have stayed there before and just enjoy the place so much
Room, v comfortable and clean. Not a big room, but enough for a few nights.
Breakfast server was a bit abrupt with people, although she was serving on her own. Would not put me off staying again though.
Location Staff at breakfast
greeting at reception Room food at Breakfast
Rooms were big Beds were soooo comfy Breakfast was fab Location was ideal Pub downstairs Lovely terrace area Wifi in rooms List continues.......
Was expecting a different room with double plus 2 single beds but this was probably booking.com error so had a 5 & 2 year old in same double bed but thankfully not to bad!
clean efficient and organised
Room ( no. 1) was overly warm at night maybe air conditioning required in summer.
The location was a short walk from the beautiful quayside, where the boat trips depart from. The accommodation felt very family friendly.
The room was extremely hot even with two fans,( the weather was exceptionally warm, or it might have been that the room was situated above the kitchen)
it was in a great location and the staff were excellent
The room was unbelievably hot (not the hotels fault) and we had to buy a fan from a local store just to be able to sleep
Location; accessibililty; room was small but had all we required for an overnight stay. Our cooked breakfast was delayed as staff forgot to pass our order to kitchen initially, but appreciated their honesty in letting us know that was the reason. We really enjoyed the juice and fresh fruit at the self serve section of the breakfast.
The sausage & bacon in the cooked breakfast. They were tasteless.
Love the room
It was far to hot no way of cooling down while on our room
Excellent spacious room. Service at breakfast was excellent
Reception could have been more welcoming when I arrived.
