Free Parking ,Friendly staff, clean rooms On a main bus route into city centre, good price we stay there on a regular basis so staff know us and greet us like friends when we arrive. Most nights are very quite its good value for money. One room near lift is a bit noisey humming from lift moter.

I liked the nice modern reception area and the rooms were very warm and inviting when you entered them. The lighting in the bedroom wasnt great, but thats pretty picky. I also didnt like the fact that when we arrived back at the hotel at about 3am there was a middle aged guy wandering the corridors. I manage a hotel and understand that the Night Porters do their 'rounds' but for him to stand and stare at us and then knock on the bedroom door and be very rude and unreasonable was just out of line, I would never allow any of my staff to be so forceful and intimidating, especially for no reason at all.

Hotel was ideal, clean and comfortable. Went with a friend for a night out on the town. Felt very safe, room had everything you needed for a one night place to crash. Close to the town centre and cheap in a taxi, but further enough away from the busy town to get a quiet sleep. 24 hour reception and friendly helpful staff, the bar was open till really late plus snacks also available. Would definetly stay again. Can not complain about anything, hotel was great!

It was adequate Vert tired accommodation Cold reception area. Basic bar area -no one in it -(staff or customers) Strange layout over several "blocks of rooms" Felt I had walked into a transit camp rather than a hotel.

The staff at the Apollo seemed very polite. The rooms were clean and tidy and better than what I expected. Fully equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and also a hairdryer which came in very handy. The hotel seemed secure as keycards were needed to enter blocks. The onyl downside for me was the location, we were in town visiting the Gay Village which was a £10-£15 taxi drive away,

This is the third time I have stayed at the Hotel. I like the apartment feel of the hotel and the price is reasonable but saturday night noice was not great. The points below were the first compaints and might make me try another hotel next time I did not like - the TV set was mounted too high on the wall and there could have been a bit of art work on the walls. Also a number of quests make a lot of noice early on the Saturday night. It looked like the police had been called in the morning. The card to work the lift was difficult. I would recommend the hotel but warn that Saturaday might be a problem.

The restaurants that are nearby, The location of where I wanted to go. When we arrived at the room the room smelt of smoke but it was a no smoking room. With being on the ground floor we could leave the window open all the time we werent there. But the room was very spacious and that was the negative point.

The friendliness of the staff; the quietness of the room; the comfortable bed and room furniture. Everything contributed to a good night's sleep needed for a hard day's work the following day. Strongly recommend.

Great location, free parking, free wi-fi, motel-type layout. Decor a little dated and tired. Could do with updating & re-fit. Wi-fi connection very slow. Breakfast service a little disorganised and hot food could have been hotter.

I enjoyed my stay at the Apollo, but I always do. Every time I plan to come to Birmingham I go straight on line and book with Apollo, I don't even bother looking at other Hotels. The Apollo meets all my needs without breaking the bank. The Staff are helpful, friendly, and the breakfast buffet is just what you need when your rolling in at 07:00am after all that partying, and guess what you even get to sleep all day because its not a noisy place. See you soon. x

Though the room was small it was clean and had everything we needed. I liked being able to park outside the room. Location of the hotel was excellent being a short bus ride into the city centre. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. I would stay there again.
