Score from 588 reviews Good
Room was spacious, TV quality of picture and sound brilliant, Friendliness and helpfulness of staff was excellent, being situated on a main road thought the road noise would be terrible but the room was very quiet even with traffic, the heated towel rail and ironing board were a nice touch also the walk in wardrobe area with mirror and spotlights was good, very easy to get into the main heart of Birmingham, great transport links to and from the hotel, Hotel is also situated within a 3 Min walk to local news agents and cash machines, great facility for parking and no charge is a bonus :D
Radiator was hard to use either full blast or no heat, Dec-or was a little tired and outdated, Major stains on the main carpet, Bed was ok, Entry/Exit doors were very noisy.
Service of Duty Manager when I arrived at 11.08 pm
There was no heating in room 207 on Arrival. The nights sleep was disrupted by being constantly cold. Radiator eventually came on at 07.30 am.
Brilliant breakfast - cooked English with plenty of cereals/croissants etc Room cosy with good facilities
Room was a bit cold - there was a draught from outside door
very good value for money and free parking in good location for access to birmingham
large group of people waiting outside foyer smoking etc when I returned at about 11, felt a bit intimidating.
The hotel was clean
I have stopped here several times and have enjoyed my stay . I rang reception no answer could not sleep well as the noise in the room regarding the shower pump or the lift next door . It was horrendous as I value my sleep.it was snowing out side very tired had to go to my next appointment in Nottingham. You need to sort that noise out in 327
Convenient position on main bus route to city centre. Clean and comfortable room with all we needed. Ample parking.
We did not have any problems.
Apartment-like feel. Fairly clean. Very quiet. Nice staff.
Tiny bit unclean in places. Thought I was getting a double but got a twin (no matter, I was alone).
I got a good price deal, wi-fi was perfect, area was nice, complimentary tea&biscuits in the room.
Not that clean, quite old furniture, no hair-dryer, old TV, quite far from city center (45 min of fast walking).
Convenience, plenty of parking, comfortable and clean. Free wi-fi. Everything you might need in a small space, even an ironing board.
On ground floor, bedroom door exiting into car park, meant I heard banging car doors late at night and early morning.
Breakfast was fantastic, in a lovely clean dining room, with very friendly staff.
The room was tired, and the bathroom needed attention. The loo seat was loose, there were hairs in the bath plug hole, and the sealant needed re-doing around the bath and taps.
Loved the layout of this place, it was like renting a small flat out for the night. Warm room, great location, friendly staff.
Bed wasnt amazing, but was comfortable enough.
Warm comfortable room Plenty of parking spaces Good breakfast Ideal location for our venue £56 all in for two persons
Great price if booked early. Room was clean and comfortable. Good shower! Ideal base for a night out away from the city centre - ours was a work do on the Hagley Road...
Bed was knackerd.
Room - a bit small but adequate and very comfortable. WI-fi very fast. Restaurant - food and service first class - we were so pleased that on our second night we brought three colleagues to dinner.
Car park - plenty of space but at the rear it needs resurfacing - not good in the rain.
excellent value for money close to main attractions
wi fi was poor but that's a small thing
Location Parking Staff
Poor rooms with 70's décor V poor bed Lift was a joke - it stopped at each floor whether you liked it or not
good value for money comfortable room nice staff cool to have tea and cookies awaiting you clean and tidy nice renewed room, with good wifi, tv, a kettle and a nice bathroom
on the ground floor you hear the noise from cars and people arriving, not loud though. also the lights, which are on outside during the night, are realizable. the curtains do a good job, just not 100%.
Staff were friendly enough and like I said it is hard to give an opinion as I was only there a short time.
The Lack of wi-Fi in the room though to be fair they let me use the reception area in the morning.
5 min taxi into broad street, great location opposite bars and restaurants, would definitely stay here again for value for your money
the bed was a little bit on the hard side
staff were friendly. room was large and comfortable. easy access to Birmingham centre by Bus. parking free and close to accommodation.
The look of the hotel from the road
Noisy bedroom location next to boiler room?
Staff was really pleasant and nice to talk to. Room's was really tidy and had every thing we needed.
I wouldn't park your car there as mine got broke in to in the car park. So I suggest if you go do not take your car.
