Breakfast was fantastic, in a lovely clean dining room, with very friendly staff.
The room was tired, and the bathroom needed attention. The loo seat was loose, there were hairs in the bath plug hole, and the sealant needed re-doing around the bath and taps.
Loved the layout of this place, it was like renting a small flat out for the night. Warm room, great location, friendly staff.
Bed wasnt amazing, but was comfortable enough.
Warm comfortable room Plenty of parking spaces Good breakfast Ideal location for our venue £56 all in for two persons
Great price if booked early. Room was clean and comfortable. Good shower! Ideal base for a night out away from the city centre - ours was a work do on the Hagley Road...
Bed was knackerd.
Room - a bit small but adequate and very comfortable. WI-fi very fast. Restaurant - food and service first class - we were so pleased that on our second night we brought three colleagues to dinner.
Car park - plenty of space but at the rear it needs resurfacing - not good in the rain.
excellent value for money close to main attractions
wi fi was poor but that's a small thing
Location Parking Staff
Poor rooms with 70's décor V poor bed Lift was a joke - it stopped at each floor whether you liked it or not
good value for money comfortable room nice staff cool to have tea and cookies awaiting you clean and tidy nice renewed room, with good wifi, tv, a kettle and a nice bathroom
on the ground floor you hear the noise from cars and people arriving, not loud though. also the lights, which are on outside during the night, are realizable. the curtains do a good job, just not 100%.
Staff were friendly enough and like I said it is hard to give an opinion as I was only there a short time.
The Lack of wi-Fi in the room though to be fair they let me use the reception area in the morning.
5 min taxi into broad street, great location opposite bars and restaurants, would definitely stay here again for value for your money
the bed was a little bit on the hard side
staff were friendly. room was large and comfortable. easy access to Birmingham centre by Bus. parking free and close to accommodation.
The look of the hotel from the road
Noisy bedroom location next to boiler room?
Staff was really pleasant and nice to talk to. Room's was really tidy and had every thing we needed.
I wouldn't park your car there as mine got broke in to in the car park. So I suggest if you go do not take your car.
Comfortable and inexpensive. Good location
TV was in a good location
Terrible mattress and a lot noise from the main road resulted in a sleepless night for both guests!
Staff who were very friendly. Hotel wascomfortable in good location on main road
Please hire a new staff the gentleman with a funny teeth that was on duty on 15th November 2014 I checked in at 14.30pm he was extremely rude ,no people skills and think that's he's in the right. We was desperate that day if we wasn't I would never ever stayed there the room was filthy, the lock on the door was dodgey like it's been broken in!
Very well situated for shopping and the NEC. Easy access to rail and bus services. Staff were very informative about travelling by public transport and eating places in the area within walking distance.
Unable to have an evening meal in the hotel over the weekend
Noise Levels Party in room down the hall until 1:30am. Very loud group returning to floor at 4:00am Breakfast staff discussing their views on hotel management whilst standing in front of the buffet
Location and breakfast was excellent
Don't accept room 407 it's next to the plant room and there is a constant noise all night
Privacy was good and was like being home from home. To be fair we only needed somewhere decent to sleep after a packed schedule each day. We spent 2 nights at this Hotel and it fulfilled our requirements. We would certainly use it Again
The toilet Flush was a bit of a problem and bathroom was not well ventilated.
couldnt sleep , noisy drunks.had to move rooms at 2.30 am . couldnt get out of the place fast enough.
Me and my friend stayed for an event at the Arena, I would say for £40 for a twin room, you cannot go wrong. The room is quite small, but clean and does the job for a night. Also it's not far from the centre, and has a TGI'S right opposite.
I didn't like the fact we had to pay £100 deposit when we arrived, as they already had our card details if anything did go wrong.
