Charming interior, not one of the bland chain hotels. Solid internet access by cable in the room. |

Central location, historic building and tasteful decorations, choice between excellent restaurant or casual bar for dining. |

The food both the beakfast and the evening meal were excellent. The service at dinner was just wonderful. The lack of "suitcase friendly" steps on arrival was poor. The smell in the room was not good. |

Dining in Michael Caine's restaurant! Elevator went out. Rooms are small and have no internet access. The latter was a real inconvenience. |

The hotel is in a great location and there were lovely toiletries. Having a DVD player in the room was great I'm not sure that I would class this as 4 Star. The room was quite small, dark and backed onto a lane with delivery lorries. I prefer Marks Hotel which is just across the road. The bathroom was quite small and the sink was cracked |

The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a good position to access transport, culture and shopping. the staff were pleasant and helpful. the Michael Caine restaurant and tbistro were both excellent and provided good value deals alongside the full menu The bathroom looked a little tired and the room overlooked the central heating ducts which were noisy during the night |

I was rather disappointed at the decor of the room. It did not feel luxurious or 'enviable' as described. The standard of the bathroom I also felt was below par. The bed was extremely soft to the point of sagginess and was only a double, I would have expected a kingsize in a room of this size. |

Loved the old features of the building mixed with contemporary feel Should have discounted parking at convenient car parke across road. Cost was very expensive for one day and night's parking - spoils the Abode experience! |

central location, standard of rooms having to walk through groups of smorkers on the main entrance to the hotel, the strong smell of sour beer or something else in the bar |

the rooms are small and not well equipped. The first room we were shown had no furniture to allow you to store clothes, space for a case, etc. Both rooms overlooked service pipes and had no view. |

Nice Small Hotel The type of room we booked was not available, so we got a lesser standard room than we booked-same price. We were however, given a free bottle of wine which was acceptable. |

The room was a nice size and the bed very comfortable There were no bath robes and the air conditioning wasnt very good. There wasnt any parking at the hotel but there was a multi storey car park across the road, but it didnt open until 6.30am and we had to leave at 6am. |

We liked the fact it was so central, we liked the comfort of the room Ourcooked breakfast was very late in coming, and we had to ask what had happened to it. We had to catch a bus, so could not do the breakfast justice when it finally arrived as we did not have time to eat it. |
