breakfast not included in room rate.
Room 203 we had could hear the bins getting emptied all morning 7 am so prob get room diffrently part of hotel And I think breakfast to expensive for what you get Other wise great decor
Price of breakfast
It's a lovely and very interesting building, ideally situated for the best clubs, bars, music venues and restaurants in Glasgow
Room decor and furniture are all tired and a bit worn, but I understand they will be refurbished shortly
The fabrics, (from Timorous Beasties), the details and architecture of the building, the friendly staff - a real Glasgow welcome!
There is a problem with noise with rooms that face out onto Bath Street. It can be severe; sleep is not possible if it's a rowdy night outside. Staff are aware and do what they can to help, including moving rooms. If you need quiet, say so!
Room and bed very comfortable and clean Staff very polite.
Great sticky toffee pudding!
Bathroom a bit dated!
The bed, the lift and the location
The bar area could have a bit more ambiance
Very welcoming reception team Lovely Hotel with good facilities
Staff from top to bottom of hotel were very helpful, efficient & friendly! Love the outlay ie wally tiles etc! Room very comfy & lots if space!
Loved the hotel and the friendly staff. breakfast was really enjoyabel room was very welcoming.
Didnt like the dinner couldnt eat it sent it back but still had to pay for it
The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. The hotel rooms were charming and well equipped. Cookies with the tea and coffee were nice to have at the end of the day!
Very well looked after by attentive staff. Very welcoming. Nice breakfast.
Strange lighting in the room -very dark, thank goodness the bathroom was bright.
The staff were excellent. Very down to earth and polite. The room was clean and comfortable.
Paying an extra £22 for breakfast, for the two of us. The drinks, crisps and snacks in the room were not complementary. The coffee was disgusting, not to be expected for such a fine establishment. Tables of two were too close together and was uncomfortable to eat so close to strangers.
The location of the Hotel was good for central station and shops. Lovely hotel and friendly staff. We had a quiet room on the 3rd floor with comfy beds clean and tidy. The breakfast and service was good. Liked the old original lift. Would definitely stay here again.
staff were immaculately presented and could not have been more friendly and down to earth location fab
bed too soft
Verry helpfull and frendly staff, Knowledgeable about the area and a fantastic Scots breakfast. we will be coming back again,
we managed to drive straight past, The signage could have been better.
Location and breakfast
Very poor light in bedroom - as a woman traveller no good for makeup. Room vet claustrophobic if staying for more than 1 night. A colleague of mine was offered a lower rate than I paid when they visited me
Noise levels from party goers on the street outside. Decor was tired. Staff were fairly dismissive. They asked how the stay was and when I pointed out the noise from outside at gone 1am, the staff shrugged their shoulders and said what was I expecting from a main road facing room.
Very handy for the shops, friendly staff, impressive building.
Room a bit basic, bathroom in need of updating.
Bathroom mats mouldy and had hair on them that was not mine. Location good for why we were on Glasgow, bad for all night street noise
The decor, the lift, breakfast and location
Lift was stuck a couple of times which was ok for us, but maybe not so suitable for folk with mobility issues.
It was clean but some how looked a little worn, whereas when I stayed last year I thought it was wow!
Small room, dirty towels not a great finish on the room
loved the character of the building
