Very friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Lovely breakfast room. Excellent location.
House in need of repair and upgrading.
Large room (no 6). Sea view Clean & warm
Décor a little worn in common areas (but improvement work appears to be in progress).
Great location at the seafront with a short walk into the city centre. Very good breakfast and lovely people . Mark and yvette will make you feel right at home and help you wherever they can. I'll definitely come back.
The breakfast was freshly cooked and good
Staff were very polite and obliging.breakfast way good.
Too far from station and too far to devonshire park.pillow was dirty.bed was uncomfortable.was hard to find hotel in the dark.the back ground being brown and black writing.top floor no lift difficult with luggage.landing wall dirty.
lovely breakfast and friendly welcome
The room was very large with big bed and lovely view of the sea and pier. Breakfast was very tasty and the people were really friendly.
The only thing that can be improved upon is to have a mini fridge in room with fresh jug of milk each day. Love my tea!
60 stairs (room at the top) But was warned
The room was so comfortable , clean and big with a very nice view from top. PERFECT! recommend it!
I had a particularly gruelling day and was held up and in danger of missing my check-in time. I phoned and left a message, and when I eventually arrived, I was given a really friendly welcome. Good location on the sea front, not all rooms have a sea view, so worth asking which do have. I booked a single but was upgraded. My double room was beautifully decorated, the en-suite spotlessly clean and the bed was so very comfortable, I wished I'd had a couple of extra days just to sleep. The full English breakfast was one of the best I've experienced in all my travels recently, cheerfully served, and nicely presented. The Wi-Fi worked well. I found a programme for the Eastbourne Theatres, and went to a concert by the RAF Central Band, to celebrate 50 years of the Red Arrows. An unexpected bonus. Plenty to don , see and visit in the locality, even in the winter.
The carpet in the bedroom had seen better days, more due to the carelessness of guests I surmise, than lack of attention on the part of the owners. Some of the rooms are in the process of being updated, as will be the communal areas, (stairs, dining room). But all reasonable. Restricted parking along the sea front, free between 6.00pm-8.00am, but I chose to drive around the corner and park in one of the adjacent side roads.
Excellent Breakfast. 60 steps up to our room which with the 15 minute walk into the Town Centre gave us plenty of exercise. Good value for what we paid.
Decor a bit past it and looking a bit tired and needs some electrical updating.
I stayed with my 2 daughters for their cheerleading competition, the staff were fantastic in accommodating us and helping with early breakfast as we had an early start. Is a fantastic hotel and would not hesitate to stay again.
Owners lovely.. Room 7 lovely and great bed we had a wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast good. Wifi not good at all so be aware uf u need it for business purposes. Defo go again
Nothing to dislike
the bed was fab the breakfast was great lovely room
no chair to sit and dry your hair no bath robes
Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely room and en-suite Fantastic breakfast Great location very near the Pier
Duvet quite heavy Bed-head rather creaky Some work needed to communal areas (but understand this getting underway very soon)
The staff were friendly and helpful. The
The decor was dated and badly in need of repair. Definitely a hazard in the event of a fire outbreak. The room was tiny and was located at the top of the building with a horrible view
Loved the location-right opposite the beach 2 min from pier, and 15 min stroll to station-links to Brighton 40 min. Owners were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about local area. It is a comfortable guest house/hotel, with spacious room, we had the twin and sofa bed. It is good value, 2 nights B&B for three cost total of £148. We all felt it was unpretentious, comfortable, and well worth just under £50 each for 2 nights. Breakfast was good. We all agreed we would stay again. There is road noise if you have sea view room, but we slept through with window open.
The stairs need a bit of a spruce up, and if you came looking for posh, this is nt the hotel for you-if you are looking for value, comfort, amazing sea views and friendly unobtrusive owners-give the Atlanta a try.
The sea view room was dressed nicely with matching bedding. The bed was so comfy I slept as well as I would have at home. Breakfast was huge and lovely.
Maybe a bit bigger TV in the room.
The quality of customer service. The lovely small cosy room. The location. And how welcome I was made to feel.
Mark and Yvette are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their rooms are very comfortable. Always spotlessly clean. Good choice for breakfast in a lovely dining room overlooking the sea-front. Always a pleasure to stay here.
The friendliness and consideration of the staff. The comfort of the accommodation. The good breakfast.
The shortness of our stay!!
Room clean. Bed clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean. Excellent location on the sea front. Super English breakfast. Good value, we got what we paid for.
A bit run down, could do with redecorating and renovation. But it could then justify higher prices.
Excellent location right on the Queens Promenade with a lot of parking options in the surrounding streets. Also the price is very fair.
Considering a great price there really isn't much I could complain about - maybe just the nesting pidgins right next to our window and an internet connection that didn't work on any device we had.
