Beautifully clean and modern bathroom

I have stayed at the Atlanta many times over the years and am always made to feel very welcome......so important for a solo traveler. Over the years the owner has gone the extra mile to accommodate my needs when ever possible.

What a view. Floor to ceiling bay windows with view over the sea and a small balcony to chill on. Large room, good shower, big comfy bed and the Olympics in TV, what more do you need.

Need a little decoration.

The hotel owner was very friendly. The hotel worker was pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was very good with all the components, served immediately. The bed was clean and comfortable. Although I chose this on price, my friends stayed at a 4* hotel 100 yards towards town for £5 extra over 2 nights and felt they'd had a bargain.

The room was dirty with several holes in the walls and peeling, dirty wallpaper, dirty picture rail and a toilet flush that needed much persuasion. The room had an awful view onto backs of buildings outside the window so curtains were kept closed. The noise from seagulls, pigeons and men drilling meant very little sleep the first night. The 2nd night I was so tired I slept through it.

Very small B&B, right on the seafront - fantastic location. Room and bathroom very clean and beautifully decorated, a wonderful surprise for a budget hotel.

The seaside view was wonderful, and the breakfast was nice.

I found the Atlanta to be a very cosy,clean, welcoming smaller family run hotel. I visit Eastbourne often & have stayed in many hotels there, the Atlanta is one I will definately return to. It is ideally located on the seafront for all the local ammenities but just far away enough from the noisey peir area that you can get a good night's sleep. The staff are very friendly & helpful & I enjoyed a fantastic breakfast in a pleasant envoiroment with seaveiws.

There is no lift in this hotel ,so acess to the upper floors may present a problem for some. The decor in some areas is a little dated, but Mark the owner is currently making improvements.

Fantastic seafront location, great views

Our room was on the top floor, lots of stairs. Cleanliness could be improved, and staff could have been more friendly.

schöne Aussicht auf Meer und auf den Pier, sehr grosses Zimmer und schönes Badezimmer, nettes Personal.

Zimmer war könnte sauberer und besser renoviert sein.

Vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging, goed ontbijt.
