Was dusty in parts n got woke up by railworkers as its next to hotel
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Close to were I wished to visit
Tvs in room are tiny and no tv remote for tv in room 8. Staff made no effort to help.
Good location & very friendly & helpful staff. Lovely breakfast & overall, great value for money
We didn't get much sleep the first night because of doors being slammed in the early hours by other guests. However, the hotel cannot be blamed for this.
The room, the bath room and most of everything else. The toilet sounded like a airplane taking off every time it was used. There was so much noise in the hotel it was hard to sleep. I will not stay there again.
On booking in the gentleman was excellent with reception duties Room request was fulfilled nicely Refurbished wash room/shower needs a little more doing to it but over all Good Breakfast to die for
WiFi reception weak downstairs and kept cutting out for some unknown reason No evening meal choice
Good Hotel, staff member was excellent. Would use again.
The foul smell outside my door all the time. It smelt like dirty socks.
Price and location
Staff were uniformed of proceedures, room was tidy, but i felt it could have been cleaner,
- the bed was comfortable - the room was clean - the ensuite bathroom was basic but with enough space for everything. Good shower
- The price for the room was higher than the quality offered - The whole structure is in need of much more maintenance
As before, the staff were welcoming and friendly, room clean and comfortable, and breakfast was fine. The bus stop outside is so convenient for popping into town,
no towels provided
Near to the city centre. Easy parking. Friendly staff.
Near to a rail line, but not too noisy to be a nuisance.
Value for money and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good breakfast
Small and friendly
breakfast was large, but used economy bread, catering tea, economy sausages
bed was awful for 2 people - dip in middle caused by heavier person dirty linen in the corridor blocking the fire exit when we arrived wiring fault? may have caused bedside lights to keep blowing the bulbs you can watch TV OR boil a kettle - not both lots of mould round windows people in next room smoking and smoke coming into room
Very nice cooked breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking.
Room a little small
dirty carpets , strange smell, filthy communal areas
Food was good bed good, bathroom poor. Could do with a makeover all round.
Tiny bathroom small sink shower not working properly.
The breakfast was great
Odd arrangements for checking in: small piece of paper stuck in front door window gives telephone number to call. Obviously the desk is not staffed.
