Tremendously friendly staff, excellent value for money. I got the feeling that the other guests I encountered were regular visitors to the hotel and with good reason. The breakfast was excellent. The room, though lacking a comfortable chair, was clean and quiet. The available channels on the TV were crystal clear and there were plenty of them. I would highly recommend this hotel. |

Nice friendly staff, warm room, comfortable bed, heated towel rail on and thus warm towels, easy parking, access to car park and in/out of hotel No teabags in room, only coffee or chocolate drinks so no early morning tea |

The location was the main factor for us and the free parking. This meant we could easily walk into town and not worry about parking. Room temperature control was acheived by openning and closing the window. The heating was far too hot in the room |

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, quiet room, lovely lounge, plenty of parking, central location, generally a pleasant stay. The ironing board was very old, stained and difficult to use. The iron didn't heat up at all, but when I took it back they swapped it for another that was fine. |

Very comfortable beds and a good breakfast. Free parking. Unfortunately the bathroom was very dirty. The floor and toilet can't have been cleaned since the last guests stayed there, who clearly had 'dicky' tummys! |

good location close to reading centre , room was clean with a decent shower , TV was digital and good size. Breakfast good ... when you got it , see below. Free wifi but only in bar theres a real stampede for breakfast at 7am , either get there much later or settle for a bowel of frosties, if you do get a cooked one its really good !parking a bit tight and you have to run the guantlet of smokers outside the front door |

Easy car parking and booking in. Room smallish but adequate with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine. T.V. In room too small. The chap at reception had too many jobs, ie reception, bar, porter, concierge. He did them all well but was stretched between guests. |

Warm and freindly surprisingly quiet yet on a busy main road going into the town centre tasteful decor and very well presented. I will stay here again on my next visit as the last two I stayed at were dirty shabby and not very well run |

Although the hotel room was opposite a main road, the double glazing stopped nearly all the noise and was not a problem. The breakfast was good. Shower room was a bit cramped and the area at the end of the bed was tight. The shower temperature control was erratic. The tea cups and glass in room were not clean. We had to ask for a spare toilet roll. |
