Price and location
Staff were uniformed of proceedures, room was tidy, but i felt it could have been cleaner,
- the bed was comfortable - the room was clean - the ensuite bathroom was basic but with enough space for everything. Good shower
- The price for the room was higher than the quality offered - The whole structure is in need of much more maintenance
As before, the staff were welcoming and friendly, room clean and comfortable, and breakfast was fine. The bus stop outside is so convenient for popping into town,
no towels provided
Near to the city centre. Easy parking. Friendly staff.
Near to a rail line, but not too noisy to be a nuisance.
Value for money and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good breakfast
Small and friendly
breakfast was large, but used economy bread, catering tea, economy sausages
bed was awful for 2 people - dip in middle caused by heavier person dirty linen in the corridor blocking the fire exit when we arrived wiring fault? may have caused bedside lights to keep blowing the bulbs you can watch TV OR boil a kettle - not both lots of mould round windows people in next room smoking and smoke coming into room
Very nice cooked breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking.
Room a little small
dirty carpets , strange smell, filthy communal areas
Food was good bed good, bathroom poor. Could do with a makeover all round.
Tiny bathroom small sink shower not working properly.
The breakfast was great
Odd arrangements for checking in: small piece of paper stuck in front door window gives telephone number to call. Obviously the desk is not staffed.
Close to town.
Only one face towel in bathroom. Sink wads unclean toilet not properly cleaned, brown gunck around shower. I mug provided and no glasses. Radiator boiling hot could not touch it and could not touch it. cobwebs on the walls. One night was enough to bear.
Near to Beefeater pub Good size free parking. nearish to town center
Close to railway track
Staff eating breakfast in reception whilst guests in dining room not professional! Had to wait 10 mins to access hotel as staff in back area. Would not answer call when we tried to call hotel also.
Hotel is near Reading West train station Breakfast was really nice
location good sized bathroom
cramped room smell of room uncomfortable bed
no toilette paper in toom bins not cleaned in room bed not properly made overall tired looking, needs a lick of paint! curtains torn
fair sized room close to town centre easy transport options comfy bed
Room 10 - right next to train tracks so got woken up at 6am with continuous noise from waiting trains until 8.30am - VERY loud even with all windows and doors shut Then woken up by noisy children running up and down the corridor (although admittedly not the hotel's fault) Windows had been left open in the room on arrival so room was very cold
Staff helpful, breakfast good, handy position.
Unfortunately the wifi didn't work whilst I was there
The courtesy of staff and the clean room. Also a good breakfast.
