This large, modern hotel looks out over Barkby Beach. It has free parking, an indoor pool, a sauna, steam room and gym. The rooms with private bathrooms have free Wi-Fi and views out over the beach, the Irish Sea or Prestatyn’s hills. The Beaches Hotel is on the beautiful North Wales coast. It has a large reception lounge with a fireplace and a game room with a pool table, darts board and games machines. The Promenade Bar serves bar meals and has an outside patio with a decking area, where guests can enjoy beautiful sea views and sunsets. The Dunes Restaurant serves the best local produce. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We asked for our breakfast to be ready at 7am as we had to leave at 7.30 each day and they never failed. They even dried our jumpers when we got wet one day! Room a little small but nothing too bad.

Staff very friendly, excellent location My daughter nearly combusting with the heat of the room ! We had to get a fan from reception and a bucket of ice to cool her down ! The reception area is air conditioned but the rooms are not and only have velux window to cant leave open at night. To be honest I wouldn't stay again if it was warm as it was stifling !

Waking up and seeing the sea come in, and a blue sky. The staff were freindly, room clean and tidy. Plenty to eat for breakfast. breakfast plates need to be hot, and the food could do with being hotter as well.

Nice quiet location. Parking spacious & easily available. Breakfast had wide choice & staff very attentive. Good Wi-fi facilities. Given smoking room (preference for non-smoking) & located under sloping roof. Scrambled egg a bit dry.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean although it could do with some updating and renovation. (310) The food was excellent in the evening as well as in the morning. No possibility to relax in the spa. You do need loungers after you have been to tha sauna.

I felt like I was doing the staff a favour by allowing them to serve me breakfast,the 'waiter' lent on the wall whilst taking my order,no thank you on anything as he put the breakfast on the table,did not bring me any milk I had to go and find my own.It appeared he did not want to be there which will be my case when a return to Prestatyn soon
