Very friendly staff
Crazy to place a family Room right over the very loud disco! All was fine until Friday evening!
I like the breakfast and the staff where poilet and was big rooms and comfortable
Good breakfast and friendly restaurant staff
Very shabby decour - stained carpets etc. Receptionist watched me struggle with luggage making no offer of help. also failed to tell me my room was miles away up 3 flights of stairs!
Easy to find Good parking Food really good Staff very friendly
Good value, clean and in a quiet environment. The duty manager was very helpful and the staff cheerful and polite.
There was no lift and a general feeling that the place needed sprucing up a bit. Strong smell of disinfectant on the staircase
Restaurant staff helpful in facilitating meals at odd times (I had super early starts and very late nights)
Very run down hotel. Dirty hallways. Room smelt of disinfectant the use of which I hate to think. Generally shabby and run down.
Hot chocolate clean fresh towels and excellent sirloin steak shower etc was fine. Helpfully friendly staff .will be back next year. Ps breakfast was excellent
Couldn't open window. Asked for double bed but got two singles pushed together . Mattresses kept. Partinginthe middle.. I am a very restless sleeper so wasn't too comfortable at times
Spacious room, comfortable bed Large flat screen TV Variety of breakfast options Window which could be opened Thermostat control on radiator
Being told to move to a different table with a full place setting when I asked for a spoon at breakfast time. Dismissive attitude of staff when checking out. Discoloured grout to tiles above bath
Close to where I wanted to stay
A very care-worn establishment Threadbare carpets Tatty decoration throughout the hotel & rooms Overpriced for what you get
Staff of all roles. Warm and welcoming. Lovely restaurant food for myself with a small stomach ( reduction surgery ) and my 10 family guests. Young ladies in restaurant at breakfast and dinner times delightful people.
We had one Layer of bedding and neither a blanket nor a 2nd quilt was available. I slept in my dressing gown once and a sleeveless jumper over my nightie on the last night. It was "too early for central heating," so room always chilly. I went to a homewares shop in Havant and bought a warm picnic rug for £10 to cope ! Also no face flannels provided.
Convenient location Staff friendly, polite and helpful
very noisy kitchen fan not able to open windows very noisy pipework all night bathroom fittings (towel rail. shelf over sink) loose and unstable
good breakfast parking on-site friendly staff
many steps to the bedroom
Bed Hot water Location Breakfast Large TV Floor level
Room was at the front of the hotel, near to the pub. Got a bit noisy and went on until quite late. Would have preferred to be at the back of the hotel.
Great location, very helpful staff, great breakfast, clean and characterful. I would stay there again when visiting the area.
Amenities, location and price were good, staff were friendly.
Room quality and general hotel condition was lacking, worn out carpets and layer upon layer of touch up paint wasn't a good look, also smelt old!!
Large room. No noise from other rooms. Wide carpeted corridors. Excellent inclusive breakfast choices of 8 different cooked dishes. Dinner menu good. Large free car park. Pleasant staff.
Bathroom a little outdated and nowhere to stand your toiletries.
Car parking was provided on site, the hotel was in easy access to the ferry yet in the town of Havant giving access to shops and filling station prior to boarding the Ferry .
A lift would have been appreciated.
Large room plenty of hot water comfortable bed and clean bedding
Furniture bit dated could do with an up date.
We were relocated by the manager to a room on the first floor from the top floor.
There is no lift. Would not have booked had we known. A HOTEL OF YOUR QUALITY SHOULD ADVERTISE NO LIFT FACILITIES. ALL READY BOOKED AGAIN IN NOVEMBER. MANAGER GIVEN US ANOTHER FIRST FLOOR ROOM. WOULD NOT BOOK YOUR HOTEL AGAIN BECAUSE THERE IS NO LIFT.
Poor cleanliness Very dated fixtures Three different light fittings in one room! Disgusting bathroom Dirty carpet in room Shabby furniture Breakfast layout was amateurish, with no croissants, no Danish pastries, toast machine just threw toast onto carpet, tables were sticky. My wife had a meal in the restaurant and steaks were overdone and not as advertised. Walsh rarebit on the menu that was in fact cheese on toast.
Location .bar bedrooms ok
No soap in bathroom
the staff were fine
the room was disgusting
I liked everything clean comfortable and friendly helpful staff.
The only minor problem was finding the car park initially everything else no problems.
