The receptionist was very friendly. The room was exactly what you pay for. Basic accommodation, but comfortable.

No meal facilities, although plenty of options close by. Probably time of year, but the place seemed deserted most of the time...bit like you'd dropped into a Zombie/28 days later scenario.

Dirty rooms and uncleaned shower. Torn bed sheets. Well worn bed clothes. Only staffed from midday till 9pm so unable to check out on time. No morning breakfasts as the kitchen was closed over the festive period. This hotel doesn't provide the service advertised and should be closed down.

Poor quality, uncared-for. It hardly qualifies as a professional hotel. I am amazed that it can survive, lack of everything, damaged bedding, plumbing didn't work properly. Stayed 2 nights but room was not cleaned, bed not made on middle day. No one was on duty overnight, or until midday the next day. Booked breakfast, the hotel cancelled it. No one was present in the morning during check out Definitely the wrong choice

Cleanliness of room, style of room, brown bed linen, poor quality furnishings. Wanted to leave as soon as arrived. Woke up at 7.00, left straightaway. Friend's adjacent room didnt have a working light in the bathroom and had a stain on their bed linen

Far far too cold. Had to ask for the heating to be checked. As soon as we went down he knew what we wanted to complain about. Decor years old and room smelled musty. Would not stay there again.

The breakfast was ok.

The room was old fashioned and tired. The tv didn't work. The paint was peeling on the bathroom ceiling and there wa a loose tile on the floor. The blind at the window was broken. They don't do food of an evening.

Friendly staff. I was not expecting anything from this booking as I had made a mistake when I booked it, however, for the price I thought I got everything one could have expected. Very simple but fine.

Absolutely value for money. Wifi access in the room and the room is in a good condition.

The television and the heater is not workIng. The taps in the washroom can't stop running.

Staff very friendly, room was brill, and breakfast was lovely too, plus very close to all town ameneties.

The frontage facing the street was not as smart as the inside. The window catch in our room was broken.

The location is very near to de shopping centre.

The staff is not kind. I could not open the door of my room, and I asked her to change the key twice, then she become inpatient, and even blamed on me! Their facilities are too old! Furthermore, the swimming pool this hotel describes is actually not located as a neighbour, it is at least 1000m away...

Friendliness of the staff, the room was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was good value.

The outside of the Beauchief was off putting, the entrance was through a shared car park and the building looked very tired.

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Room was very clean and comfortable too.

It was very central and easy to get on buses to many locations. The bar was very good with cheap prices and helpful staff.

The shower wasn't the nicest experience where the door wasn't on the hinges properly and the water temperature kept changing - then shut off at intermittent times.

Staff friendly and reasonably knowledgeable regarding facilities in the area. Breakfast quite good.

TV not working. No toilet rolls (we had to ask for one). Room not serviced on second day. Hotel is very "tired" and more suited to people working in the area temporarily, which in truth seems to be the majority of their clients.

Hotel was ideally placed close to Loughbourgh Station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Choice of cooked breakfast offered on Sunday.
