reception staff who do not look at you or acknowledge your presence. We booked dinner for 21.00, arrived at 20.45 and was told to return at 21.00! as the restaurant was not busy, I assume this was due to staff shortages. Two other hotel guests were advised waiting time would be one hour. Bar staff was friendly, but asked me to point out where the Drambuie was, as didn't know what it was, also struggled with drink and snack orders - this was no fault of the staff, but poor training provided.Parts of the hotel may need TLC (carpets etc). Very small car park, unable to use disable parking as cars were parked not displaying Disability Card, when I mentioned this, there was no response from the staff - previously was advised they had no control where cars parked.
Interior features of the hotel are lovely, with different areas to relax and have an evening drink. Although we did not use the spa or beauty rooms, we did have a quick look inside and they looked really good areas to relax in.
