The Bell Hotel & Inn  

The location is good, and the breakfast/breakfast staff are very good. Our complaints however are detailed below.

We upgraded to a luxury room. Very disappointing - the tap was broken, the bathroom mirror was smashed on one side - one of the handles on the wardrobe door was missing - the sleigh bed could have done with a polish - the hotel was noisy at night with lots of door slamming. We have stayed before, because we have family close by and there is not room for us to stay with them. We would probably not choose to stay again unless our disappointments are addressed. The staff was tops: friendly and the most helpful. The English breakfast was the best we had had in years and the catering staff was very nice and welcoming.

Only the pillows. they were the hardest ever encountered.

Good location for a number of tourist attractions and good all round standard of food and service.

Nice hotel in a good location, good food and clean

When we asked if we could get a drink after 10.45pm, we were refused. Found this a little strange that they would not even serve a soft drink as they had "cashed up" so early.

Noise from passing traffic. Mould on the bathroom blind and bath tiles.

Would have a pub meal there again but wouldn't stay or have a breakfast again.

There was a water leak outside our room, which was coming from a light. We reported it and asked someone if we could move rooms he said there was no need. Every time we went in and out of the room we got dripped on. All night we heard dripping!!8.30 Next morning 2 staff stood talking about the drip and about how bad it was, waking us up. The lady serving breakfast was moaning about how many people where eating which really put us off eating and made us feel unwelcome, people even walked out. The hotel was nice rooms small, the pub staff very welcoming and friendly.

I stayed in a single room which was small, but clean. The room included a small bathroom, equipped with a new shower. The breakfast was included and you could order roughly 8 items off a menu in addition to the continental breakfast. Service was a little slow but not too bad. The food was very good. I stayed in january and booked a non refundable rate (50 pounds per night including breakfast). Fantastic value for the money.

Love Woburn as a town. Only drawback is during rush hour the one street through town is busy busy busy, including trucks. Its wonderful when that is over.

Was not allowed to purchase a drink in the bar at 10.45pm! Not even to take to our room! We will not stay again!

This is the second time I have stayed here, as before , lack of enough staff is the problem.

Good choice of food and drink in the Inn opposite. Breakfast available all morning.

2 flights of steep narrow stairs to our room.

Well priced. Good food and choices. Parking.

Very clean fresh bedlinen.
