The adults-only Beresford Hotel is a short walk from the sea, the center of Paignton and Paignton Train Station. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. All rooms are individually decorated and have a bathroom with a shower. Other facilities include tea/coffee with cookies and cable TV, and some rooms have a four-poster bed. A full English breakfast is served in the morning; a vegetarian option is also available and special diets can be catered for. Guests can relax in the hotel’s lounge, which has a TV and some games. The Beresford Hotel is simply excellent. My wife and I were made very welcome and were looked after throughout our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you David & Jen.

We arrived very early not expecting to check in but we were given an excellent welcome and a large pot of coffee and biscuits and the room was perfect 2mins from sea and town we have stayed at many British b&bs and this one comes high on the list the breakfast was hot and well cooked Iam fussy especially with sausages but these were very good the shower was powerful and hot we had flat screen television and all the items you would have in a good hotel we would certainly recommend this b&b and we know we shall return in the future thanks to the warm welcome from the owners

From the day of travel I recieved a phone call from the owner David enquiring about my time of arrival and giving full instructions of how to find the hotel when I arrived in Paignton. When I arrived I was immediately offered a lovely cup of tea. David and his wife Jen were very welcoming and sat and chatted to me in a way that I could have been a long time friend. The room was very spacious and the amenieites were excellent. The breakfast was a good ol' english and a great way to start the day. I would easily recommend the Beresford and Paignton is a lovely part of the country too.

The Beresford was clean and tidy the landlord was very nice and polite, I would go back there again. The only thing was there was no groud floor room of which one of are party needed one.

The welcome at the Beresford was warm and very friendly,nothing was any trouble for the hosts David and Jean, I was made to feel at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless comfortable and larger than the average b & B. The breakfast was excellant, and again nothing was any trouble. Iwould definately stay there again in the future, and would recomend it to anyone. The only thing I would change at the Beresford would be the breakfast timings , I think 8.30 to 9am is a little tight, when your on a break you expect a bit of a lie in, I think 9am to 10,am would be better.

The proprieters were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. They catered for my husband who doesn't eat Pork. The location was great and right in between the beach and the town. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The reviews of the hotels were very encouraging although I didn't find the hotel as good as the reviews. It is a nice b and b but is slightly outdated. The bathroom door had a large gap underneath which meant that any 'activity' could be heard loud and clear. Breakfast was between 8.30- 9 allowing no lie in even on a Sunday. The noise from other guests was easily heard.
