“ Great Guesthouse. True hospitality. Friendly hosts, even got up early on Sunday morning to prepare breakfast for us, as we had to catch a ferry. Fantastic beds, fantastic bath room and shower. Will be back in September. Always first choice for Eastbourne. ”

From the super friendly welcome from the owners, Daniel and Ian, to the impeccable decoration and scrumptious English breakfast cooked fresh from scratch, me and my boyfriend completely loved it! We stayed there this bank holiday weekend, 25th and 26th May, and everything went so smoothly that it made our anniversary a lot more special. The room was clean to perfection and the bed very comfortable. And the location is another big PLUS! It is literally less than a minute walking from the sea front, five minutes from the Pier and 10 minutes from Beachy Head. Could not have asked for a better location. I will definitely reccommed The Berkeley to everyone going to Eastbourne! Wonderful place! There is absolutely NOTHING to dislike! Amazing place to stay!

Owners Daniel and Ian are fabulous, lovely rooms, big fluffy towels, coffee and biscuits, it was my birthday and there was champagne on ice waiting for us in the room, thankyou sooo much guys xxx We only stayed for one night : (

Good product, reasonable sized rooms, good family room set up, friendly owners who try very hard. The breakfast buffet outside of the typical made to order hot items could do with improvement and larger selection of items for guests who do not wish to have the hot breakfast items.

Guest house is close to the sea and town centre, breakfast room looks beautiful, great breakfast with lots of choice, bed room was very clean and cosy, bathroom was user friendly, lovely shower, friendly staff. In the single room description a dvd player is mentioned but it has been removed during recent changes. I had brought some DVDs with me which I couldn't watch. Mattress wasn't ideal, I kept rolling to the side a bit although I still slept well in the end.

Absolutely made my break enjoyable.A happy atmosphere, and very friendly. Room cosy, breakfast well cooked and filling. I am a senior, who usually travels alone. I felt safe. An enjoyable experience.

Extremely good value for money, good decor, very comfortable. Excellent location, right next to the beach and a very short walk to the town centre. Very yummy breakfast. Best thing of all are the owners, SO friendly, accommodating and helpful. One of our party had some difficulties and the owners bent over backwards to help. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.
