Staff were helpful and friendly Food was tasty and interesting
Poorly fitting windows, letting the road noise in. Shabby and tired bedrooms Mould in the bathroom Very ignoring room keys!
Clean and tidy. Bed was comfy but squeaky.
Breakfast was rubbish.
Breakfast was reasonable, but nothing else impressed.
Hotel was dark and dinghy needs brightening up with some lighter colours, and some brighter bulbs.
Staff friendly and efficient & the breakfast was was very good.
Bad nights sleep, mattress was thin and not comfortable to sleep on.
Excellent high speed wi-fi accessible in room. Full English breakfast was delicious. Decent size TV. Pub just across the road (which served fantastic food). Bar onsite. Good parking.
The hotel was a little dated. Room furniture and carpets old. Food only served in the morning and evening.
Breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly.
Room a wee bit tired.
A cooked breakfast freshly made and an excellent evening meal. Bedroom and bathroom were both very clean and the bed comfortable.
Nothing worth mentioning!
Grassed lawn at the back
Just the staff. They r in the wrong place bcoz they should be in beter hotel.
the staff, facilities and general hotel were disgusting the hotel has been poorly maintained, the rooms are filthy, the bathrooms are from the 1950s I wouldn't wish this hotel on my worst enemy yes its that bad I travel all over the UK on business and have never walked out from a hotel
Breakfast was lovely and staff v friendly ideal location for my trip
A few licks of paint required!
The breakfast was fine. I had poached egg on toast which was very nice.
No pillows on the beds upon arrival. Tried to call reception from the room only to find the phone didn't work. Tried to connect to internet but couldn't due to the poor signal. Went to reception, asked for replacement phone but was told none available. I have recently been seriously ill and needed to contact my wife who is abroad either by phone or internet which was supposed to be available and was unable to do so by either method. At breakfast, I asked for a spoon which was brought to me and this was dirty. The carpets leading to the main reception area are threadbare which immediately gives a poor impression.
the breakfast was excellent & the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them (Sheliza was very helpful.
The road got a bit noisey first thing in the morning.
friendly and helpful staff
decor and hotel in general was very dated. A typical budget hotel that needs modernising.
I stayed as a business traveler, but this hotel was not suitable, more suited to the budget or tradesman fixed rate accommodation
No Wi-Fi connection, poor room, not my cup of tea, so I paid for my second night and moved hotels
Friendly staff and very helpful
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel could do with a re-vamp. It looks tired and a bit dull. It also needs a good clean out.
excellent location comfortable rooms
restaurant not open on a sunday breakfast a bit dried out
Richard who was a staff member and involved in planning wedding was an exceptional staff member who went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. He even drove some guests to the church.Breakfast was good.Outside seating area was lovely.
Booked as part of a group of about 20 for a wedding but found staff in reception were not very helpful. We flew from Ireland and arrived at 3 only to be told there was no food being served until after 6 as chef was off and we'd have to travel into town by cab for food, this after a long journey.!!Price was expensive for basic rooms,we stayed in central London following day and that was cheaper.Wedding was in hotel and when we booked out the following day glasses, ashtrays, etc were still visible outside the door in flower boxes at the main entrance at 12 midday.!! It was a very warm day and there was no air con so people were very uncomfortable. You had to get cab into town for everything where a shuttle from hotel wouldve helped.
Friendly staff, nice quiet room (room 15). Nice views from dining room and great breakfast.
Bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable. Could do with more light in the bedroom - particularly near wardrobes.
