The hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard with a lovely bar selling real ales as well as lagers. It was ideal for me to stop over to catch an early morning plane from Bornemouth airport the next day. |

Despite the fact that there was ongoing building/maintenance to renovise the Hotel, the staff coped most admirably. We only had one meal, a dinner, and that was well prepared and presented. It has a huge car park, and is very handy for Bournmoouth Airport |

Staff polite and welcoming. Room was good and the view was nice. Didn't use any facilities as we only stayed 1 night. Didn't dislike the hotel but the following issues should be addressed. There was no Fire Evacuation procedures, phone or hotel information pack in room. Bathroom needed a shelf for toiletries, more towels and somewhere nearer to the bath to put a towel to use after bath/shower. Shower head and shower curtain need to be higher. |

We arrived to a building site. The entrance was coated in dust and paint, there was no official reception desk just one in progress being put together. We arrived at about 4.30pm and the bar and dining areas were smothered in building dust and workmen were on site working on revamping the hotel. Quite frankly it was disgusting. |

The view over the river was lovely and it was so quiet (apart from the swans and ducks). The breakfast was excellent value for money. It was a shame it was so obviously being refurbished, but this did not affect our stay and I'm sure the improvements will greatly add to the enjoyment of people's stay at the hotel when finished. |

As above. When the upgrade is completed I would use the facility again but not as of now. |

although the hotel is under external renovation the room was clean and recently refurbished. We had a warm welcome and fantastic riverside view from our room, an upgrade at no extra charge. We will definetly book again and look forward to visiting when all works have finished. |

Happy attitude of the staff considering the hotel was undergoing major decorating. It could not have been easy for them. Yes- The hotel was undergoing major decoration work, and the smell of paint in the room areas was unpleasant. |

It did not look like the images on the website and there was no mention of th fact that they had builders in at the time of our stay. It was worrying that the builders had easy access to the room keys too. |

Can not say that there was anything that I particularly liked The service in the restaurant was poor and the food was cold or not cooked. Several people left with out eating. The breakfast was also cold and the eggs were dried up. I understand they are in the process of being taken over. But would think twice about stay there again |
