Room was vey small, wouldn't have paid full price for it.
Great location, close to shops and bars.
Rather unclean but for university students on a night out it was sufficient
Basic and slightly in need of an update but was all we needed and a great price.
Location is quiet and perfectly placed. Great bars and cafes - not least the Brunswick's own bustling bar / restaurant on the ground floor. Friendly helpful staff.
Cooked breakfast not available before nine am.
Continental breakfast was OK but limited. When I said I was gluten free and facing just a banana for breakfast the staff went out and bought gluten free bread just for me- now that's what I call excellent service.
It would have been good to have been able to get a few sachets of coffee and milk from reception to make a drink when we arrived back late at night rather than having to go into the noisy bar. The person on reception seemed rather surprised that we asked, yet many hotels have these at reception for those who have run out. We had told the cleaner that we did not need the bed made nor new towels the day before so the tea/coffee facilities were not replenished. We had saved the cleaner some unnecessary work so it would have been nice to have been able to make ourselves a drink late at night. Something to bear in mind...
Nice and central.
Room was small but it was a compact room I paid for.
Central and close to George square and queen St station. Staff were so Friendly and helpful.
Rooms are very tired, tiny bathroom had lots of mold on tiles and roof. Window didn't shut or lock properly.
Size of room too small
The colours on walls...too dark (made it look 'seedy)'.bare wires behind mirror in bathroom.Room could do with repainting. as 'open wardrobe'paint chipped . shower needs re-tiled .Glad it was only for one night.
Good area...close to bars/restaurant.
Needs a lick of paint
Staff friendly, wifi good, bar next door fab
Poor communication between staff over credit card details - system not robust and rather sloppy resulting in my guest being asked for payment if a a room I had already provided card details for payment
Decor very dull and drab. Lighting poor and shower curtain minging
Rooms on the small side, dark and dreary hallways.
The price for the hotel location was brilliant. The hotel served its purpose for us, as we only wanted a bed to sleep in. And a shower for a weekend partying. Would use it again no problem.
Could use a quick lick of paint.
short walk to town centre. Quiet area. Tiny room but sufficient for an overnight stay.
ceiling lights broken, bed lights broken, tiles broken in bathroom, wall visable behind tiles, bath dirty, shower pressure very poor, floor requiring hovered, under bed dirty, and a lot more issues,
I realised from the booking description that the room was going to be small. It certainly lived up to this ! I would definitely stay here again though but in another room
Friendly and helpful staff, good location. Good food in the bar/café.
the beds were very low down and i am tall
The interior of the room is a bit tatty, could do with a bit of investment for general maintenance.
Big room, decent shower, comfortable enough bed, easily adjustable radiator, fantastic location. Value for money for a city centre hotel is great.
Value for money here. It was close to Central Station which was great for catching train and going to the rock bars of Glasgow. Room was small but had everything needed for an overnight stay.
room was very small, but we had expected it.
The hotel was very poor, very cramped and run down. Not impressed.
Staff were amazing, it's also just round the corner from the pubs and clubs. The room was also very modern and very clean.
bed propped up with bricks
very close to everything we came to glasgow for, cant complain for the price
