Good location opposite the common. Large bedroom with pleasant outlook. Easy access from m25 and short walk across common to Gerrards x station for 30min journey to London Marylebone. Although there was a function on Saturday night the hotel had located us in a room away from the action and we weren't disturbed. Small bed (4'6"). Room was quite hot but although secondary double glazed (presumably against traffic noise) the windows could be opened to give ventilation and on Friday and Saturday night traffic noise wasn't a problem. 10% discretionary service charge added to restaurant bill.

Good looking building inside and out. Friendly staff. (especially Josh) Good breakfast. Ample parking. On the evening we stayed there was a wedding and many football fans, so it was very busy. Consequently the shrimper bar ran out of glasses about 10 pm. Perhaps an extra pair of hands would have been appropriate..

Lovely Hotel. Great room, comfortable and clean with lots of space. Nice breakfast facilities. Outside Garden beautifully kept and a really pleasant "break-out" area. Staff - excellent ! Very helpful, friendly and polite. Finding the way to the room from Reception (room on 2nd Floor) and finding the way back down. Might be a bit worried if a fire alarm went off ! Better safety signage would be an improvement.

The staff were particularly helpful, friendly and nice. Abi in the bar was great and a lady for particular mention was Zalene in reception who was absolutely superb. She was very efficent, professional and sought me out to make sure I received an important document that I had emailed to The Bull. She is a great asset to the hotel. Location of hotel was also good. The room was far too warm, the taps were too close to the mirror in the bathroom and difficult to operate, the tv did not work very well and the location was noisy.

Relaxing in lounge overlooking garden and good value for London. Planning too stay again soon so must have bben happy. Hope they have sorted the "didnt like" for the return in a few weeks. Advertise real ales in Bar but have no real love of them because they probably feel they are more trouble than they are worth. This reflects in the way the management are not concerned if they are available/unavailable

location and rooms were very good. front of house staff very helpful. Bar and restaurant staff were unbelievably useless! they were in a constant state of panic even when the bar and restaurant were practically empty. I was with a group of international colleagues and embarrassed that this might be the impression of British hospitality that they were left with.
