The food was excellent, as was the staff. The spa/pool were a real selling point for me. As my reason for coming to the hotel was my husband's heart transplant assessment at Papworth Hospital having a comfortable stay was key. As he will be in the program at Papworth I expect to return for an extended stay, up to three weeks over the next year or so. My room was cold when I arrived and took some time to warm up. To be fair, it was unseasonably cold and pouring rain.

Easy to find, staff help full and friendly, comfortable rooms and excellent bath room, with shower and a bath, good car parking that's free with good bus service near hotel to get to Cambridge and back, breakfast plenty full and free local paper. nice clean, relaxing and enjoyable hotel. Only complaint is the hight off step into and out off shower and wdith off shower doosr opening as not built for larger persons, but that may just be that room.

The staff at reception and the cleaning staff were not only friendly but eager to help and assist. As we passed a member of the cleaning staff in the corridor, we asked if we could have another towel in our room and he did it happily straight away! The room had a heater and the windows opened too so you could totally control the temperature and air flow at night. There were loads of 3 pin sockets so that we could plug our laptops in and make use of the free Wi Fi. Great tv. The bathroom was really clean and very modern. The bed was very comfortable. Location - We were visiting Cambridge so we drove to the park and Ride which is just a 5 minute drive away from the hotel and takes you straight into the city every 15 mins (£2.50 return) We would certainly choose to stay here again or any other q Hotel after this stay.

It is a very peaceful and lovely hotel. I have stayed there a few times ove rthe last six years and I cant really explain why I prefer staying outside of Cambridge, but it is suhc a relaxing atmosphere at the hotel, I always sleep well, and return home refreshed, and it is so comvenient for Cambridge. I also love Cambourne, the new town in which the hotel is situated. Breakhast buffet is outstandingly good. You can't go wrong staying here.

We rang the hotel the week before our stay to make a reservation in the restaurant for 4 people at 8.15pm. On arrival we checked the reservation with the receptionist and she she that the reservation hadn't gone through as they were very busy but they could offer us a table at 6.15pm!!! Not good!!! However, she did manage to sort us out (eventually) and our reservation was honoured.

Hotel very noisy late at night, (3 and 4 am) with people wandering the corridors(we were onthe 1st floor,) possible aftermath of party goers. Would not recommend staying at this Hotel at weekends.

Really nice hotel. Cambourne has good bus links to Cambridge. Very relaxed and quiet. Excellent spa and gym - very clean. Room on the small side, but again very clean, also modern. Not cheap, but it was worth it - considerably better than the cheaper Cambridge hotels I've visited. Breakfast included and there was lots to choose from. No real problems, it met all our needs! Beware that the hotel isn't in Cambridge city centre though.

Gym facilities, room size and quality 1. The person (man) who checked me in at 11pm on 2/10/11 was rude and was not able to calculate the right amount to put on my account 2. The breakfast service opened at 6:45 when you advertise 6:30am on 6 Oct 2011. This made me late for my meeting. 3. My dinner on 6/10/11 in the lounge took 30 minutes to be delivered.

The restaurant staff were very helpful at breakfast. My daughter has autism and was running around alot. The staff were very helpful and accomodating to us. They even got a bin so she could put her yogurt pot in it and avoid a big temper outburst. Thankyou Have stayed at this hotel many times and always been very pleased, however this time the reception staff were not as good. Previously we have had a sachet of hot chocolate in our room which we asked if we could have as our daughter likes this. There was also only 1 biscuit in the room. We were told this was not included in our room rate and that we should go to the bar and buy hot chocolate and try to grab a maid with a trolley if we wanted another biscuit. It was late afternoon and no maids were still servicing the rooms. We had paid £120 for the night and this seemed a bit mean to me. One other comment re the pool area which is usaully lovely. The pool water seemed a bit murky.
