The rooms were large with a seperate seating. The pool was a good size if you like to swim, but the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were also good. The food in the restaurant was excellent. |

This was my birthday treat and it certainly was a treat. The four poster room was huge with 2 teles and they allowed us to use our dinner allowance on room service. The facilities were all very modern but the plumbing let it down. |

The spaciousness of the hotel, the facilities, the friendly staff and the comfortableness Yes. On arrival we were showed to our room and the view was straight onto the car park with cars parked adjacent to our window, being on the ground floor. We heard doors closing and cars revving. We did complain to the hotel that their room description made no mention of the view. We asked to be re allocated but no room available. |

Easy to find, excellent location, beautiful surroundings, great food, superb massage treatments Only nit picking as overall excellent and will definitely stay here again. However view from bedroom window was an internal car park - shame when hotel is surrounded by fantastic countryside. Also not enough dining tables/chairs in the bar area when there is clearly enough space to put them, so we had a less than comfortable meal in there. Finally no Sky tv so we had to miss the Man Utd match! |

The hotel had good facilities and was clean. The staff were friendly and the food was of good quality. The hotel was a generic business type hotel with out dated decor. There was a lack of ambiance and the room was very small for the price. Overall for the price it represented poor value for money. |

Good swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Lovely views from public rooms, friendly staff. Nice big towels, enormous comfortable double bed. Menus were varied although didnt always live up to expectations. Free wifi much appreciated. Perhaps because end of season staff had become better trained but did not experience the problems some other reviewers mentioned. The rooms looked nice but were not as pracitcal as they might have been. For example there were two large wardrobes in our room - one had four hangers, the other had none. We asked for more but the staff explained that they were not allowed to provide more as they all had to be Best Western hangers. For two adults staying 4 nights this was totally insufficient. Additionally it was not possible to reach the switch for the lights from the bed (the room was much better lit than many I have been in once the lights were on).The swimming pool was large and warm but the changing rooms had no hair dryer, costume spinner or conditioner. Would have liked more info re local walks. |

The hotel was comfortable and easy to get to - the spa facilities were lovely, the bar staff were great as were the reception staff The restaurant staff had trouble understanding English and some of our food orders went wrong. The shower in our room didn't work - took 15minutes running it to get any hot water. The pillows were very uncomfortable |

Swimming pool and facilities where excellent. The restarant was good but overall a wee bit expensive. Hotel room was not clean enough. The cup for tea and coffee had mold in it from some previous non use. The toilet was not fully clean around all the hard to get at areas near seat lid hinges. |
