Dating from the 12th century, the historic Castle Inn Hotel boasts original features and an innovative restaurant. Situated in picturesque Castle Combe, the Castle Combe Circuit is half a mile away. The beautiful bedrooms are elegantly decorated with rich fabrics and antique furniture, each with individual character. All rooms offer tea and coffee facilities and a private bathroom with a cozy bathrobe. Oliver’s Restaurant serves a creative British menu and an extensive wine list, while the lounge bar offers informal lunches and light snacks. There is also a dining room and an ample terrace on the grounds. Situated in Castle Combe market place, The Castle Inn has an interesting history as a former retreat of Oliver Cromwell. With open log fires, exposed beams and sloping walls, the magnificent building is just a 15 minute drive from Chippenham. The Manor House Golf Club is a 10-minute walk away. Hotel Rooms: 11

It was a lovely location. We visited so that we could have a look at the venue for my daughter's wedding next year. The Castle Inn was fantastic as centre of a very pretty village and provided comfort in such a beautiful rural location. Looking forward to visiting again. The staff were very friendly and the accommodation excellent.

Location - beautiful historic village. Room - facilities, design and cleanlines Breakfast - excellent Staff - friendly and helpful throughout Rather limited restaurant menu. More 'gastropub' than proper restaurant style food and choices. That said, food and wine good.

I thought the ambience super, the food delicious and the quality of the hotel's staff and their personalities just wonderful. The rooms themselves are beautifully finished. The hotel represents a special retreat in a fabulous location, and it is definitely on my return visit hit list.

In a beautiful village, wonderfully peaceful. Staff were excellent, very knowledgeable, attentive and discreet. Bedroom was excellent, best hotel bed we've slept in for ages. Food was first class

We stayed at the Castle Inn recently (3rd&4th Oct) we had a very relaxing stay . The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. We ate there on the first night and intended to eat elsewhere the second night but the food was so good we had dinner again.The two men serving, Peter and Constantine, were very professional and courteous. We woul have no hesitation in booking here again soon. Many Thanks, Bob Jones

I just returned back from an amazing long weekend away with my husband. We stayed in The Castle Inn Hotel for the duration of our trip and I can't say enough good things about it. Amazing!!!!! The rooms are gorgeous, the staff are beyond helpful and friendly and the location can't be beat. A must in the Cotswolds.

Lovely location and atmosphere. Staff excellent and very friendly. Food excellent. Only problem would be for tall people (low head height throughout hotel) and also in rooms, or any disablity re stairs (no lift).

A beautiful historic hotel that's been kept very well up to date (the bathroom was so nice I want it for my own!). Visible timbers, crooked walls and all sorts of character, but I never wanted for any amenities. And the town and surrounding area makes for some beautiful walks.

駐車場などについて事前にメールで質問しましたが迅速に丁寧な返事がいただけてよかったです。夕方ついて翌- 朝早くに出発したので余りゆっくりできませんでしたが、きれいな川があり散策するのが楽しかったです。町は- とても小さいので買い物には適さないと思いますが田舎／自然を求めている人には良いと思います。朝食は量も- たっぷりありました。副菜はベークドビーンズよりもブラックプディングをおすすめします。 駐車場がありません。道路の白い枠がいっぱいですと路駐する事になりますが黄色の二本線のところには停めな- いよう注意が必要です。

Autentisk 14-talls hotell I en landsby som er kåret til englands vakreste. Vennlige og hjelpsomme ansatte på hotellet. Frokosten var nydelig. Det var lavt under taket, I gangene, tydelig preget av datidens byggestandard. Hotellrommet vårt var ikke det enkleste å finne, men med hjelp fra personalet første gang, var det ikke noe problem. Rommet var utstyrt med verdens deiligste seng med fluffy og delikat sengetøy og dyne. Møblene på rommet var eksklusive og badet var delikat. Gardinene var tunge og forede og tydelig av det dyre slaget. Dette hotellet kan anbefales på det varmeste.

スタッフがとても気さくで親切だったこと。かわいらしく清潔な部屋で、天街付きのベッドや足つきのバスタブ- があった。レストランでのディナーや朝食もおいしかった。非常にリラックスしてなおかつ優雅な滞在を楽しめ- た。 ドライヤーがなかったこと。
