the view across Douglas Bay is superb The 3rd floor, where I stayed, was very warm. The shower mixer was not working so only ran cold though there was plenty of hot water for the bath. This would not put me off returning to the same hotel, same room as overall was excellent |

As I visited the Isle Of Man to take in the TT. I found the proximity of the hotel to be exactly what I wanted, it was a short walk to the Grandstand and in the centre of the after race activities. I was given room 208 which had a window opening to an enormous extractor chimney that started up at 6.30 am. every morning |

Lift to rooms. Room Clean and Warm. Staff helpful. Food was not top quality for £160 per night for double room. Had better quality at cheaper priced hotels. |

Clean, comfortable & friendly. Thought the TV reception was very poor & needs a digital service installed. I personally would have liked a radio, tunable to Manxradio ( AM ) since I was there specifically for the TT & found myself needing to know what the anouncement would be for the race that day. |

Room was appalling, cramped, dull, poorly equipped and not very clean. Woken by exptractor fans which were directly outside my window. Had to move the aerial around to get a signal on the television?Food was very poor. Breakfast was stale, the bacon was very fatty and the eggs were dry. Very tired furniture in reception and all I heard were people complaining about various things. |

Convenient to ferry terminal, staff excellent and very helpful, value for money, food basic, but good and plentiful. Parking rather hit and miss, I have a disabled badge which simplified the situation considerably, but think normal parking could be a real problem in the season |

The hotel staff were extemely helpful, polite they could not do enough for our team. The rooms were tidy, spacious and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The price of the rooms was cheaper than quoted on the internet which was a pleasant suprise. Bar not open late enough! |

Badly cleaned. Room door left wide open by cleaner, unsanitary rubbish left outside door. Shabby corridors and stairs |

Stayed at the claremont, was ideally situated clean and friendly staff room smelt strongly of smoke and asked to be moved but was full. Don't know if someone had been smoking previously or was coming through the vents. Also every one was smoking right in the doorway to the hotel this was very unpleasant when leaving and entering the hotel. I know ther'es probablt nowhere else to go but this wasnt very nice. It was also very noisy but that can't be helped |

The main dining room for breakfast was pleasant and the breakfast was cooked well. The hotel bedrooms are very outdated and in need of refurbishment. The first room they offered me was appalling, boiling hot and depressing. I asked to change rooms and the second room was better although the bathroom door would not close, the extractor fan in bathroom was on constantly (would not shut off), the carpets in the room and in the hotel corridors were very worn and needed cleaning. |
