The location was excellent close to shopping area and transport links for buses, Ferries, Steam Railway and Electric Railway. The Rooms we occupied were facing the back of hotel, this is not a problem as we did not pay for Sea View. But the back was scruffy, untidy and covered in Pigeon droppings and Pigeons that stayed throughout the night. Noise from the bar below and the Temperature of the heat in the rooms was unbearable at times. |

The location is very convenient to both the port and main shopping area of Douglas. There were major heating problems. Our room, on the 3rd floor, was like a sauna despite having two windows open and a desk fan going all day. We complained twice but the extreme heat remained. |

Tour around the Isle of Man We had room 303 and the en-suite was really small, it was near impossible to use the mirror in the bathroom with the door closed. |

Comfortable room, friendly staff - they were particularly useful and patient in answering my questions about how to get to various places, and such mundane matters as where to buy at toothbrush. It was fairly noisy at night, being next to a pub. |

The hotel was good however the bed we had was surposed to be a double it was not it was a 3/4 size and not big enough for 2 people. The bed not the size advertised it was too small for 2 people. We had 4 very uncomfortable nights. other rooms in hotel had correct size double beds. we felt this was not right. |

The efficiency of the staff when they realised there had been a mix up with the two reservations I had made. All staff extremely helpful and friendly. Ideal location on the promenade close to all transport links and shopping/bars/restaurants. |

Based on the price that I paid we were very unhappy with the standard of room and the size of room. When I booked I was advised of a bath, which my room did not have. |

The breakfast was very good. Too noisy at night. Air conditioning unit right outside window stops at 12am starts at 6am. It was too hot to close windows. Loud noises come from patrons turning on showers. Awoke several times during each night. The Amber Bar was closed on 2 of the 3 nights I stayed. |

Breakfast was nice, staff were friendly, good restaurant underneath with reasonable prices. Great location being on the promenade. No View, small room. Had to ask for towels to be changed as room service didnt do it on one day. |

the view across Douglas Bay is superb The 3rd floor, where I stayed, was very warm. The shower mixer was not working so only ran cold though there was plenty of hot water for the bath. This would not put me off returning to the same hotel, same room as overall was excellent |
