Location and good Breakfast . We have stayed here a few times and intend to again next year when they re-open
This Trip - did not quite meet our expectations . Staff were not as friendly especially at Reception .
Hotel facilities excellent outside swimming pool temperature lovely and warm. Felt like you were amongst the forestcin lovely grounds with outdoor hot tub.
Not much parking
A comfortable hotel, nothing pretentious, and a good breakfast
The location of The Chine Hotel is superb. As a single traveller rooms are often poky and tucked away, this was neither. I had stunning views over the beautiful gardens and Poole Bay. My room was very quiet and comfortable, I had a wonderful relaxing break.
Nothing at all to dislike
Liked to heated outdoor and indoor pools. Large family rooms with breath-taking views of the coast line.
Carpets were in need of a professional clean (stained, not dirty).
The mix between old and new in the hotel. It had great character and felt really welcoming. Staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous Food was lovely. Pool, spa facilities well kept and clean Rooms clean and tidy
Bed was a bit uncomfortable but other than that nothing!
View, facilities, staff
Parking! Costs of drinks in the bar. Lack of attention to cleaning in a recently refurbished bathroom and no where to store toiletries. For the cost of the room this was a disappointment.
Spacious comfortable room with seaview. Food excellent Staff friendly and helpful
Piped music in public rooms is AWFUL, continuous and unrecognizable.
staff location rooms
location and the gardens
the rooms were very shabby and dirty - strange brown water from the taps so plumbing issues i presume? i could go on but wont.....
Perfect stay cant fault anything. Stayed in most Hotels in Bournmouth this is up there with the best A****
charme, building, location,
very soft bed, Wifi very slow or bad,
Good food, nice rooms, wifi good and spa was great
Parking can be a bit tight
Food/presentation Ambiance of establishment was very pleasant room was very nice
Balcony was not c thru so no sea view when sat down leisure centre/dos down steep stairs and poorly laid out
Would recommend breakfast and evening meal, both very good quality. Staff very helpful and friendly both on reception and in the restaurant
Room service ordered panini which was tasteless and served with stale crisps. Stayed in room 26 carpet was heavily stained. Was very disappointed with the quality of room and believe it was not worth the £280 we had paid for a two night stay
Pleasant Staff,Good Service & Good Food
As the room had Patio doors there was no window that you could open at night to let fresh air in.
IT WAS LOVELY, OLD FASHIONED WITH A MODERN TWIST!
LACK OF PARKING
Good leisure facilities such as outdoor pool, heated and was lovely even on chilly October day. Inside pool and gym. Lovely grounds and good location.
Staff weren't bending over backwards to help. Rooms were adequate but tired, sea view room was pushing it as you could see the sea from one aspect of the room, no fridge and had to pay for one.
Location and choice of indoor or outdoor pools
Large airy room. Lovely entrance and dining room. Leisure facilities very good. Swimming outdoors in October!
Parts of the hotel are a bit tired.
Breakfast (buffet) till 10.00 am was very relaxing and evening meal very good - outdoor pool 31 degrees great -indoor pool and facilities for the dull days. Manager and staff very friendly and efficient, not at all intrusive. Room large, clean, tidy and comfortable. All in all a very pleasant stay. Will be back.
No reflection on the hotel. Have been coming to Bournemouth area for many years. Unfortunately Boscombe town appears rather run down these days - the empty TJ Hughes shop does not help. We felt very uneasy walking into town after dark - just to streach our legs after the evening meal.
location was excellent
walls of rooms very thin therefore lots of noise.
Location Staff were helpful
Hotel needs a upgrade
